Donald is the only player I trade up for - maybe Barr IMO

I'm sure that Jerry went to Sullivan and told him this exact information.

They have no idea if the Cowboys would want to trade down or not.

Probably complete misinformation, at least I hope so.

Doesn't seem to be misinformation to me. I could swear I've seen those same thoughts in an article somewhere. Cowboys might be willing to go up, but not far. And they're now looking to trade down for more picks, but might depending on the right situation. It's like any other team around this team. You plan to draft to your board, until somebody presents an offer.

What's it going to be then, eh?

I want no part of a trade up. Who is this "right player" two or three spots? Can only be Donald and that would be a mistake. I like the player a lot but not enough to go steady with him.

Maybe if someone like Mack slips out of the top 10 they think about it? Of course, if they are on high on Barr he could be the target as well.

I still think a trade down, even just a few spots, is still the most likely thing if they move.

Barr is the only real TOP pass rush threat we have a chance to get.

With 11 picks I could see us moving up, but I see that happening in the middle rounds, not the first. Too good of a Draft, and too many needs to give up picks this year. I want Donald as bad as anyone, but odds are you can still get a heck of a player at 16 while keeping the rest of your picks.

I don't think they have 11 picks to trade, I think some of those are compensatory picks, which are untradeable.

All he has to do is look at the Cowboys history with Jerry and First round picks and make a logical conclusion that we will trade.

Jerry trades his first round pick more times than he keeps his original first round slot.

I don't hate this fact, but it scares me because I don't know who they think the "right guy" is. I would hate if they traded up for a guy like Johnny Football because I wouldn't take him even if he was available at #47. Only guys I would trade up for would be Mack, Clowney, Donald, Robinson, Matthews, Lewan.

They have traded the pick 80% of the time since Jerry has owned the team.

If Cowboys want Aaron Donald they're gonna have to leapfrog the Giants and get into the Top 11

Trade partner with the Lions at 10 or Titans at 11

Giants are taking Donald at 12
