Prater's kick passed through the uprights way at the top...could've made a 70+ yarder.

That's exactly it. I don't understand why defenses keep changing what they have been doing all game long for the final drives, just stupid.

Dream scenario in the Niners game:

they get down to the Cardinals 32 yard line with 26 seconds left, two timeouts and they clock the ball with 7 seconds left and bring on the field goal unit. Akers makes the kick, BUT the whistle has blown because Harbaugh called a timeout before the snap, so they have to kick it again. Akers misses, Niners lose because Harbaugh ices his kicker.
