Why do you care?

Because I like hearing that the NFL is being punished by it's fans for trying so hard in becoming a **** league.

My distaste for the NFL is growing. My distaste for the NBA (a sport that I absolutely love) reached it's pinnacle in 2005 when I completely gave up watching the NBA. The NFL is racing to that point as fast as they possibly can.

Currently, the NHL is my favorite professional sport to watch. It was a distant 4th at one point.

Poor matchup.

Falcons don't have many fans. People are sick of the Patriots.

I watched it out of obligation.

Because fantasy football players don't care about actual games.

I play fantasy football and haven't missed a Sunday watching 2-3 games in years. Most fantasy football players are actually pretty hardcore fans as well. At least every one that I know.

Don't mind him. He's just angry at the younger generations for a list of reasons too long to name.

I was in 5 leagues last year with buyins ranging from $20 to $5k. My newest league is over 5 years old at this point.

Meanwhile I consume every football game that's on television.

Ratings were down due to the match-up and a mediocre season and post-season more so than because fantasy football is a thing. 53 percent of American households tuned in yesterday. Id bet good money that that 53 percent represented well over 95+ percent of fantasy football households.

the last week we've had 2 35 yr old major tennis champions and a 39 yr old Super bowl winning QB.. Nobody thinks this is fishy?
A tweet I sent out

Yes, I think something is very fishy.

Tennis is sport where competitors used to be washed up at 28. Dan Marino had nothing left at the end. Elway's tank was at empty. 15 years later, it looks like Brady could play another 10 years at age 39. BS.

It ain't just these 3 either.

I think a lot of these fantasy guys ( obviously not all) care more about their fantasy players and teams then following their home team. I see them on their tablets and phones switching around looking for updates for yardage rather than sitting in one place and watching an entire game.

5K! Thats awesome. Ive been in the same league 20 years and I barley inched the tight wads up to 100.00. I always dream of finding the "Rounders" scenerio where I find a league full of lawyers and what not that arent all that great at fantasy lol.

As a fantasy player I try to keep the my love of the Cowboys and fantasy seperate. First and foremost though I always want a Cowboys victory. There's never been a time where I rooted for the other team just to win at fantasy. A real fan doesnt roll like that. The best of both worlds was drafting Zeke 8th overall this year and riding him to a championship!

Doesn't surprise me at all. I think many people are tired of the Patriots, and few give a **** about the Falcons outside of Georgia.
And most of them care more about SEC football

I'm actually surprised the numbers were that good, a regional team, a team that always there, oh yeah, wasn't there a big boycott of the SB going on?
