Have any of you checked to see how much they are?

:omg:

I was thinking of buying 2 tickets on the chance we do make it for the NFC. If we didn't make it, I'd sell them for a profit.

These are the cheapest ones I have found so far. The yellow seating area.

wow. for that i'd just as soon redo my entire home entertainment center!

You know, I just couldn't justify $5k for two tickets to a game that last three hours. It was hard enough to spend $1,200 and a pure breed Golden Retriever, but at least our family will have her for more than 10 years. (hopefully)

The only way I do this is if I can get better tickets, buy 4 of them, sell 2 for an extreme profit, and go for free (or at least very cheap).

Thanks for the info...

There go my hopes of buying a pair of tickets...

This really Sucks!!!

What I dislike the most is seeing these folks on TV at the Super Bowl that have no clue what is going on, they are there because.... well honestly I don't know why they are there.

I can't imagine the scenario where I would spend $5-6,000 on tickets when I could see the game for free on our big screen with great food and drinks, minus the crowds, pre-game and post-game traffic, nosebleed seats, and overblown halftime show.

:laugh2: Thats what my wife did at the Dallas @ Miami game. She bought four tickets and sold two of them and it paid for all but $55 of the tickets price.

...and a far better view of the action with replay! :)

I'm just gonna start saving up now for 2011 in Dallas... If I expect to spend $2500-$3500 per ticket then it won't be as much of a shock when it comes.

I was seriously thinking (foolishly I should add) that now would be the best time to buy them since the prices will be low. I was expecting to spend around a grand.

hahahahah weird...I thought I was the only idiot thinking about purchasing superbowl tickets...good to know im not alone..I have a buddy who lives in arizona and was thinking about just staying at his place because I know hotel prices will be through the roof that week...anywho...hostile im definitely interested, however, I as well thought the prices would be a little bit cheaper. Do you know how purchasing tickets through the dallas cowboys works? Obviously they do not go on sale until after the NFC champ game but I know they would be a heck of a lot cheaper. I know season ticket holders get first dibs but do they go on sale to the general public next?

Since you're in Arizona, a better strategy might be to fish around for people in the area who will be getting corporate tickets and won't have a fan affiliation for the game.

At the Super Bowl about half the people there are fans and the other half are there simply through connections and corporate hook-ups.

You can nab some lower level 50 yard line tickets on the ebay for 20k for a set of 4.

Get to it.

Yeah, I am thinking very seriously about that. I know enough construction companies, surely one of them is doing something.

I would if I can then sell 2 of them for the 20k.

Of course I deplete my 401k to do this. That isn't ok.

That's probably your best bet, then.

When I went to the Superbowl back in 2005, I met some Pats fans in the parking lot who had been to both of the previous Pats SB's and had gotten in paying face value on the day of the game... their intent was to see this one the same way as well.

They had some sort of mystery system they refused to share with me, but they were convinced that it would work.

We all ended up walking to the stadium together, and when we got there, they said goodbye and walked over to Will Call.

After the game, we saw them again in the parking lot, and sure enough they had talked their way into some tickets!

I'd love to know their secret, but I guess they're taking it to the grave!

Just another example of how the common man isn't supposed to go to things like this because they charge too much. They're all meant to be bought by corporations.

Just like the nudie bars nowadays. Hard for the common man to get a tabledance nowadays.
