Well...I do like that you at least read this before you reposted the Stephen Jackson "rumor" that you saw on another forum in more of a "what if?" manner.

:lmao:
You noticed that, too?

Better than posting it and then five posts later after everybody calls b.s. and then "the poster" says, "Oh I got it from another forum" ~rollseyes~

Remember Jerry said that we may be suprised how we get that WoW.. I do feel that it will be at rb.. How would you feel if we traded for Stephen Jackson with one of our number 1 picks?

You don't actually think that we could trade a late 1st round pick and get one of the very best backs in the league do you? Unless Jackson has permeneant injury damage, no chance that happens. He is a stud. Hey, I like MB3 plus a speedy sidekick anyway.

If you find a sucker to take that bet, PM me. I want in on that action.

Me too. I think in a few years looking back... Rice will be one of the two most productive NFL backs from this draft.

Don't misinterpret the sticky. It's not about not posting rumors.

However, the staff doesn't want you to post a rumor as a possible news item when you know that you just pulled it off a messageboard and didn't verify the credibility of the source.

Say you saw something by Clayton on ESPN.com. That's a credible source.

If you saw it on blahblahcowboys.com messageboard by someone saying they heard/saw/read it somewhere, but YOU can't verify it anywhere, don't post it here.

I just don't see the point in trading for a running back, who will split carries with Barber, that we're going to have to give a huge contract to. It makes much more sense to just draft Ray Rice at #28 and live with his tiny contract for 4-5 years.

What if they trade Barber + xplayer/draft choice for Jackson?

Well, to be fair, I did put "RUMOR" in the title. Which it is.

this makes me long for a forum called "Madden Fantasy Zone" where people can make up all the things they want w/o having to torture the entire forum with it.
I agree 100% with you on that one.

I wouldn't even do what this fan is talking about on Madden, and that is a video game where all of these dumb fantasies of most fans come true.:starspin

Someone beat you to the idea. It's called yardbarker.com and it is the absolute worst source of talking points ever. Basically they take any hairbrained idea on a message board and treat it like a viable source. The absolute worst site I have ever seen.

Agree, but RR may even be around for late Rd3.
