Remember Jerry said that we may be suprised how we get that WoW.. I do feel that it will be at rb.. How would you feel if we traded for Stephen Jackson with one of our number 1 picks?

First off the information you're talking of isnt correct. Jerry never said we could be surprised how we got the wow player. He said you could be surprised by how we got a running back, not the wow player.

Second, why would we trade for Steven Jackson when we have MBIII? Very similar styles of running. We need a change of pace, not a clone.

And third, this isn't Madden. And even if it was, make a trade that helps the team, not sets them back. CB and WR are more important than backup running back. Warrick Dunn will do just fine thank you.

one of my friends on ******* told me barber is getting traded here's the mess. he sent meThe St. Louis Post reports that Rams running back Steven Jackson is on the move to the Cowboys.Sources close to the deal say with ownership in limbo, unloading Jackson would help send the team into full rebuild mode. The star back is due a new contract and the organization doesn't see itself giving him the deserved payday. Owner Jerry Jones, who is no stranger to making the big splash, would love to get his hands on a combination back of Jackson's caliber. We hear Dallas has offered their 22nd pick and 92nd pick, along with a player to be named. Mar. 3 - 2:30pmSource: St.Louis Post he said it was barber is this true some1 find out!!

I freakin hope not...I am thoroughly convinved our first two picks need to be on either two corners or corner and stud receiver...the only way I trade one is for a trade for a proven player with alot of years left at one of those positions

Gotta be BS. No way we'd sign an expensive vet RB and trade away our early first rounder & 3rd rounder & then throw in MBIII. That leaves us with only 28th & 2nd rounder to get a good CB & WR.

I don't see a link, this should be deleted. I even went to the St. Louis Post website and couldn't find a link myself.

I believe the name is "Steven" Jackson but that's beside the point, these are two of same type of running backs. I'd rather see Dallas go get McFadden to be honest....

Perhaps you can explain to me why the Rams would do that?

What would be the wow factor of our team adding both Steven Jackson RB St. Louis, and Javon Walker WR FA.

My first concerns would be how much we would have to give up for Jackson. And whether or not we would be able to afford to sign both to long term deals. We would almost certainly have to trade the rights of Barber to another team. And clearly no one is interested in giving up a first round pick for Barber. I wouldn't mind maybe Steven Jackson/Warrick Dunn, and drafting a running back in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Second would be the health concerns for both players. Neither seems to be able to stay on the field.

That said I could imagine our offense being more potent than New England's was last year if we acquired both players.

Assuming that we still had a 1st round draft pick after all of this, we could still draft a cornerback. And answer pretty much all of our question marks.

WR - Owens, Walker, Glenn, Crayton (way too pricey...)
RB - Jackson, Dunn, Rookie (2nd or 3rd round)
CB - Newman, Rookie (1st round), Henry
