My cousin's, sister's, brother's, uncle's best friend heard it on a radio show that doesn't really exist.

i don't know, but Ive even seen it on their own local boards.

All I know is that Jerry Jones said it would be surprising which way we got our running back. All I know is that us drafting a running back or signing Warrick Dunn isn't all that surprising... it gives a bit of credence to that rumor.

I'm assuming you're referring to me, so let's play.

First, I never said I "think we're going to get either Fitzgerald or Roy Williams...and Shawn Springs", did I? That's a "wish list", you know, things I wouldn't mind seeing happen this offseason? Can you grasp that?

Good.

Now that we've cleared that up, we can go back to laughing you for posting the same garbage that's already found its way into the fantasy zone within the hour....thanks for coming out.

What would be the wow factor of our team adding both Steven Jackson RB St. Louis, and Javon Walker WR FA.

My first concerns would be how much we would have to give up for Jackson. And whether or not we would be able to afford to sign both to long term deals. We would almost certainly have to trade the rights of Barber to another team. And clearly no one is interested in giving up a first round pick for Barber. I wouldn't mind maybe Steven Jackson/Warrick Dunn, and drafting a running back in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Second would be the health concerns for both players. Neither seems to be able to stay on the field.

That said I could imagine our offense being more potent than New England's was last year if we acquired both players.

Assuming that we still had a 1st round draft pick after all of this, we could still draft a cornerback. And answer pretty much all of our question marks.

WR - Owens, Walker, Glenn, Crayton (way too pricey...)
RB - Jackson, Dunn, Rookie (2nd or 3rd round)
CB - Newman, Rookie (1st round), Henry

:cop: Into the booby hatch you go.

Say you saw something by Clayton on ESPN.com. That's a credible source.

Sounds like rumor to me. I'm gonna need a link.

I just don't see the point in trading for a running back, who will split carries with Barber, that we're going to have to give a huge contract to. It makes much more sense to just draft Ray Rice at #28 and live with his tiny contract for 4-5 years.

Amen.
