Who steps up their game?

I'm going with Morris Claiborne. He'll earn his top-10 draft pick status and make the Pro Bowl in only his second season. He gives up only 1 TD pass all season and has top 10 performances in both YAC allowed and receptions allowed. Picks off 7 passes and takes 2 to the house.

I think thats an easy one, hopefully the new scheme helps. Im pulling for Tyson. I know another easy one.

I say m. johnson. if the coaching staff really likes him as much as they say, i'd be really happy/surprised if he just had a productive year. doesn't need to be an all pro or anything, just to show that he's good and has upside

I wouldn't be surprised by several players. If you're asking who will out perform their draft status or position on the team then I'd say either Escobar, Arkin, Leary, or Johnson.

Can a top 10 player really be called a surprise pick?

give me Bruce Carter, I think we cowboys fans wouldn't call him a surprise but I think he introduces himself to the rest of the league this year.

Barry Church - he'll have a pro bowl type year but get snubbed because he's not a big name.

I would go with Matt Johnson. I did see a Broaddus tweet where he said James Hanna.

If he can win the job,I think Parnell can be a solid tackle. On defense I think we're in for a surprise with Tyrone Crawford. He'll start as a rotation player, but will eventually have an increased role.

How on earth would Mo be a surprise? He had a very good rookie year - CBs rarely come in and dominate right off the bat

you win...who???

Not sure if you're being sarcastic, but just in case he was the Cowboy's fourth round pick in 2011. He's a guard, Missouri state. Probably his last chance to prove himself.

If first-round corners are a surprise, we're in deep doo-doo.

I'm going with Lance Dunbar and Matt Johnson.

Just because a corner is picked in the 1st round doesn't make them automatics. I think he'll have a dominating year. He'll put himself into the top 10 of CBs in the NFL. In his 2nd season. I'd say that'd be a bit of a surprise. Especially to the rest of the NFL.

I can think of a few. Leary, Costa, Carter, Albright, Williams, Johnson, Webb, Smith, Parnell...

I'm really rooting for Johnson and Leary.
