Surprise teams

Here's some teams I think might just come out and really surprise alot of people next year, theres always a team that does.

Arizona - This team has good young WR's, a solid defense, and has temporarily addressed the QB position. I can see them trading down in the 1st round and picking up a RB and CB, or using their high pick on a stud RB. that will really solidify this team, and with the weak NFC West, they could push for a wild card.

Houston - Again, solid defense, nice young back in Davis, the emergence of Andre Johnson, well that leaves us with one big question...can David Carr finally do what people expect him to do.

Detroit - Jones looks the part at RB, very talented young WR core, catalystic players on defense, such as Bly, Bailey, Lehman is solid LB, nice DT's...and, just like his draft class buddy, Carr, the turnaround is all on Harrinton. I think he can do it.

Dallas - Last, but definately not least, our very own Cowboys. Very similar to the other teams, good defense, which could potential turn into a very good defense, good young RB, nice receiving options...does Bledsoe still have it? I tihnk so.

Add some if you got em...

I agree with you on these teams being vastly improved. I will say I hope your wrong about the Texans but they are a team that should show improvement and should be in contention for the playoffs.

The Texans weren't very good on defense last year...I think middle of the pack and they lost Sharper. I'm really not all that impressed with anything they've done this offseason; their offensive line was horrible and they haven't done anything to improve that. I just don't know about them; they're in a very good division and they hang in there tough but can they get over the hump to the playoffs? I doubt it.

it all depends on Carr. By year 3, QBs usually get alot better, and if he becomes the elite QB he was drafted to be, they are going to be very good. Andre Johnson is only going to get better this coming season, especially after he gets cleaner route running, and more acustomed to coverages. He's got such amazing physical tool's it's rediculous.

This is year 4 for Carr and over the last 2 games of the Texans season the local fans boos were starting to reign down on that team. Houston fans are placing high expectation and as always I hope their dreams are crushed.

Last year Carr was more worried about his hairstyle than anything else. I watched one game and he spent more time primping than anybody I've ever seen playing pro sports. It was really kind of funny. I guess he's a metrosexual QB.

I'm not very impressed with Harrington but they have done a real nice job drafting these last few years. I'd take Carr over Harrington any day but I think the Lions could make some noise possibly. They have a good coach and that counts for something.
