Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said tight ends Geoff Swaim and James Hanna, who are recovering from foot and knee surgeries, respectively,will not see much or any time during the organized team activities and June minicamp. The plan is to have them ready for the start of training camp in July. Their rehab will give Rico Gathers more snaps in practice to potentially earn a spot.

Hanna has bone on bone in the knee and Swaim broke the 2nd metatarsal and those smaller bones are a ***** to heal because of bloodflow.

JWit, Swaim, Hanna, Gathers...all hands on deck. Couple of UDFA's also.

Keep an eye on Blake Jarwin. A 'blocking' TE that didnt get much opportunity as far as receiving goes, but I hear it's not bc he can't catch. I think this guy has a strong chance to join the long list of UDFA to make the team, based solely on the injury concern of Hanna.

Honestly, I have never gotten over Hannah jumping over that loose ball on the kickoff in the G.B. playoff game in 2015. Cut the bum already! Tired of those players that have no nose for the ball. I want great, not sub par.

How the heck does Hanna have the combine numbers he has? Their insane. He's better in every single category than OJ Howard, which is ridiculous.
