Sweep the division and we win the East

Our best chance at the playoffs is winning the NFC East. We'd lose the tie-breaker to Arizona and San Francisco, and odds are Detroit and Seattle will get some more wins.

I'd rather just win the East and not have to hope for other teams to win or lose in order to get a wild card.

As it stands, we'd win the East if we went 4-0 in our division games in these last 6 games. We're tied with Philly at 7-3. If we went 4-0 in the division (even if we lost to Chicago and Indy, and Philly won their other 4 games) we'd still win the East (we'd both be 11-5 but we'd be 2-0 against Philly).

I don't see us getting better than the 3 seed regardless of what we did. Arizona is too far ahead of everyone and Green Bay looks unstoppable. Sweeping the division games would assure us the 3 seed. And there's no reason we shouldn't be able to do it. NY looks horrible, no way we should get swept by Washington, and we should be ashamed of ourselves if we let Sanchez beat us.

Let's sweep the East and be done with it. We're not finishing ahead of Arizona and Green Bay anyway.

I really think we could sweep, if we play like I know we can and of course Stay healthy, after seeing the Performance or lack of by the Turdy Birds, I know we stand a good chance and well the Skins we can't let them sweep us either, that would really hurt, after today it's looking more doable for the boys.

I wouldn't be surprised if we default win the division.

The eagles are currently in flight of icarus mode.

We'll sweep Philly because we can beat them in the trenches. They won't be abe to stop the run and sticking with their man defense is why they got torched today. We'll make them pay if they want to do that with us.

Sanchez played as I expected. Jump on these guys and NY Sanchez will reappear.

There's no reason the Cowboys can't go 4-0 over their remaining four NFC East games, but then again, there was no reason the Cowboys couldn't defeat the hapless Commanders at home, and they didn't.

I'm sure the Cowboys will lose at least one of their remaining four division games. But even still, going 3-1 against the rest of the division should bode very good chances for the Cowboys' division title hopes.

sounds good to me, sure hope Romo can stay healthy to give them their best shot

December's coming and I expect some bumps in this road, it sure would be nice to finish the year strong for a change

My fear is that Garrett will go pass-happy at the worst possible time of the season - in December.

...........That the running game that worked so well for Dallas in the first half of the season will suddenly be abandoned in favor of Romo throwing 40 pass attempts per game in December in the freezing wind and cold.

I think we're in the best position to win the NFCE. But I also don't think GB is unstoppable. Teams peak at different times during the season, and the ones playing the best ball right now might not be the ones playing best at the end of the season. We've got the NYFG and the Eagles up next beat them, and we're riding a 3 game winning streak into the last quarter of the season and things look pretty good for that 2 seed. Lots of time left for the Cardinals to start feeling the effects of losing Palmer, too, with SEA, SEA, RAMS, SF, and KC still on their schedule. You never know.

At this point I don't see us changing our philosophy. We're running despite what the says on the board. This team has found their identity and it's running people over.

Why would you think they would do that...they haven't yet, and they won't abandon what's working. Let go the any past history, this year is different.

Best case scenario.............we sweep the Eagles and win the division

Worst case scenario...........the Eagles sweep us and they win the division

Most likely scenario.............we split with Philly (last time we swept Philly was 2009).............under this scenario we would need the Eagles to lose another division game since divisional record is the second tiebreak after head to head. (this assumes we end tied)

Garrett doesn't call the plays.

I think people need to slow down on SF they barely beat the Giants today with Eli throwing 5 picks. They really are not a good team and they could easily lose a few games. Seattle doesn't have the fire power on offense to put together a big win streak. Will the lions start to fold? Can AZ maintain the level of play they got from Stanton? Will they continue to get help from the refs? This team is just fine

This is exactly how I feel. Beat the Eagles twice and we're in no matter what.

We can't sweep the division since we lost to Washington. We can win out our remaining 4 games within the Division which would give us our 20th career sweep of the Giants and 19th career sweep of the Eagles.
