actually hes been pretty good since Coughlin came and changed the way he holds the ball, but I am sure Roy can still jar it loose.

If you will check the stats you will probably find he is not as fumble prone as he once was. Old Tom was able to coach that aspect of his game out of him. It was a simple matter of changing the way he was carrying the ball.......Isn't it amazing what a good coach can do.

I hate to say this ,but I am worried about our Barber fumbling more than theirs , although Tiki is not a fumbler anymore ,he is due for one or two fumbles...

Add to the fact Jacobs outweighs Roy by at least 30 pounds. Roy's hits pack a wallop.

The bigger queston is whether we will continue to use MBIII as the red zone back given his propensity to fumble. I don't have much confidence in our line's ability to open holes for either back against a stingy run defense. Hoping Crayton plays and is a factor in the short passing game.

Maybe if Roy can hit him in the head hard enough to make Tiki think he's still playing for Fossil (cq), Barber will switch his grip back and become fumble-prone once more. Otherwise, we're better off hoping Manning continues throwing interceptions.

You forget that Jacobs was hit 3-4 times before Roy got too him. But Roy still got a good hit.

Mike Anderson hadn't fumbled in nine games before Roy hit him last week.

What's amazing is that Fassel, in all his years there, never figured it out. Or Sean Payton for that matter. Or whomever the RB coach was on the Giants. I remember Fassel being interviewed one time and he basically said there was nothing he could do - Tiki didn't want to fumble it. So Fassel clearly thought it wasn't a fixable problem.

Tiki's new ball carrying technique has really eliminated his fumblitis....which is a shame,
it sure does look ******** though. I'm surprised he's been able to maintain his speed with that stupid looking carry.

There's always weakness to every technique.

Tiki exposes his arm to serious hits carry the ball like that. A couple of helmets to that arm and the ball will come lose.
