yes he reminds me of #22. He cuts and makes the first guy miss exactly like #22. He is a tuff cookie too.

Hopefully he can do a better job at getting in the endzone though and getting the tough yard like 22 did.

Hes a good looking runner but still has to get better at some of the little things.

It shocks me that so many want to get rid of the Barbarian and he is the best of the 3 at finding paydirt.

You mean it wasn't all the offensive line? [/sarcasm]

I don't know about annointing Barber as the best of the three, just yet...but I'm far from thinking the Cowboy's don't need him. He's still a vital part of the Cowboy's offense, even as a closer.

I agree he bears some similarity to Emmitt.

But there was way more to Emmitt's game than making a tackler miss. It was also about balance and ability to keep going WHEN he was hit. It was BREAKING tackles as well as avoiding them.

Barber is the heart of this Offense. He is the closer. He is irreplacable at what he does in getting the tough yards.I am simply stating Choice reminds me a lot of #22 when he was young too. Barber reminds me more of the Hines Ward of Rbs.lol.

We have some good players in the backfield. Wow. If u really think about it they each specialize in something.

Barber= toughness,closer,gets first downs

Felix=speed,big plays

Choice =all around very solid back

All starters easily in the NFL.

Before we annoint Choice, rember one thing that is often overlooked about his late season performance last year.

He barely played at all before week #13. He had fresh legs going into the last part of the season and he was running against defenders who had been on the field all season and were wearing down.

I like Choice as much as anyone, but it's much easier to do what he did last season than it is to come in game one and do it all season long.

if the injuries to Barber and Jones have a silver lining, it's Tashard Choice. I don't think he would have ever had the opportunity to have the carries he did those last few games if those 2 guys had stayed healthy.

I dunno if he's an EVERY down back, but I think he can definitely be the starter, MB3 the 3rd/short yardage guy and Felix has the ability to step in for either of them b/c he does have that big play ability that can get key yards when needed (if not more). Spreading the ball around can keep them as fresh as possible going into the late season and hopefully a run at the playoffs. And that's the burden on Garrett's hands...you have 3 starting caliber RBs...how do you use them as effectively as possible.

I'm thrilled with what we have in the backfield and they'll all 3 be able to bring to the table in various forms this season. Our runningbacks are one of my main reasons for being pretty optomistic about the upcoming season.

As a Cowboy fan I am thrilled to have all three of these guys on our team.

As a football fan I kind of hate it. I'd love to see these guys all get a chance at being the "feature back".

he also played and dominated the best defenses the team saw all yr.

TC is a beast and will cement himself as a strong contributor in 09. Book that.

As Parcells would say....Let's not put him in the HOF just yet. I really hope he lives up to the hype but I have been burnt before by the next Emmitt Smith.

Way too early to start making those types of comparisons. Let's revisit this converstaion in a couple of years.

ya know 1 thing I haven't seen since Emmitt did it and did it the best was using his free hand to knock away defenders arms going for tackles. that was truly amazing watching him do it with such ease. here's an example of what I mean

also while looking for a pic of Emmitt doing that I came across this cool pic..... take that brett!

What? What?

First of all, Choice has a personality. Secondly, if he does remind you of 22, he better start collecting his TD footballs...and "stay out of da boof" when he retires!!

I love what Emmitt did for the boys, I just don't like the guy as a person....

Hey I like Choice a hole lot. Uh, but comparing him to Emmit Smith, seriously come on.:laugh2:

You can tell we are into that dead time of the year where people have too much time on their hands.

all this RB talk reminds me of the julia jones talk.

Let's chill out a little bit, we don't know what we have in any of them with the exception of barber.
