TO has brought these problems on himself, the media can only quote what a player gives them and in TO case he has no clue as to when to shut his mouth. No doubt the media continue to write about these antics and give thier own personal view but the fact remain that if TO can shut his pie hole these problems would no longer exsist.

It's clearly a combination of the two, any player can invite the press to watch him work out in his back garden, only a select few can get all the media to go. If Antonio Bryant did that how many would show up? The media crave TO as much as he craves attention. Last season if he sneezed they would report how he blew his nose. Two years ago running up to the Superbowl every show lead with an update on how his ankle was - that was nothing to do with him.

Have you paid attention to what the Dallas media are saying? They would like nothing better than to see this whole thing fall apart because of all of the chaos it would cause. The media are, in a small part, responsible for the whole TO thing in Philly.

There are many players around the league that do not have this problem, TO has brought this on himself with his own action. No doubt the media will ride this stuff as long as they can but anyone with common sense knows this ahead of time especially guys in Sports so why continue to feed the animals with his comments and actions?

TO is a very good player and very charismatic person. Whether he likes it or not he is going to get a lot of attention from the media. He should know this by now!

The media is actually very forgiving when you shut up and do your job, but TO can't help himself and loves to get his foot caught in his mouth ala the Brett Favre comment.

Oh, it's the media of course!!

When SI was craven enough to ask Owens about his experience in San Francisco, that immediately opened up the Garcia is Gay can of worms. I mean, who wouldn't respond to a question about his last job by outing/slandering a former colleague?

And you could see the Philly press bait TO incessantly until he finally blew and involved McNabb's family in the Eagles equation.

The mediots did rush by car, taxi, and even helicopter to TO's home to film him shooting hoops in his driveway. With that kind of provocation, it's a miracle Owens didn't unload on everyone from Tags to the Philly water boys. Or break into a neighbor's home to take a shower.

And that star-dissing episode - the media put him up to it, of course. With all those cameras popping, who could resist?
