wow what a team player this guy is....did you guys see him run down Crayton just to throw in a block?

and its not just us who notice it...i had several friends call me(non cowboy fans) who saw the our highlights and pointed that out, many were like "wow TO is a team player this year, just look at him hustling to make blocks.

he did not have to run from the other side of the field, full speed, at risk of tearing, or pulling something, just to throw 1 measly block. I don't know, his stats wont show it this game, but he was a major factor, he was the reason Crayton had 1 on 1, and was able to go to work on them

he Dominated today in different ways, and shows what kind of person/player he is.

I'm just so happy with this team.

i saw that as soon as he did it and made note. no TD but he's helping others get theirs. the mark of a "team" player - an adjective seldom put onto TO before but after all is said and done, i'm damn happy he's on this team.

Everybody was talking about that at the sports bar I was at when it happened. He gets a lot of props for the hustle.

This is the first time I wanted Romo to get a TD for TO not becasue I was worried about his ego but because he deserved one today.

Great post. Also mentioned by a number of people in other threads. TO's hustle on the Crayton TD was exceptional. Shows he still has wheels too, hehe.

TO is maturing and being a good team player. He is making key plays and big plays. He's making tough catches. He isn't disruptive. I tip my cap to him. I was not a fan of him prior to being a Cowboy. I had mixed feelings about him last year (Parcells/TO was not a match made in heaven). But TO is not a thug. He said some things and did some things in past, but since he's with Cowboys, he is a football player first and I have to like and respect that.

I hope TO gets a SuperBowl trophy with this team. This year he is a big part of the wins. He deserves credit.

Great post. Thats why TO > Moss. Better over the middle and definitely a better blocker.

Go TO! Our WRs do a great job of hustling and blocking.

Amazing what happens when a guy matures and when the coach refers to him by his name.

I also think Romo has played a big part in the changes we have seen so far from Owens. He seems to know how to play along side him quite well.

Yeah, that was an awesome effort by TO, mad props to him. I also liked his expression after Romo's 30+ yard scamper to get a first down.

I loved that block, and I loved seeing TO clapping and laughing about Tony Romo's 40 yard scramble for three yards. He looks happy and acts like a team player.

And yes, his presence makes all the difference on this offense too. He's been huge this year.

not like last year, when everyone was playing for them selves and playing to not piss BP off

I love the effort as well, but was anyone slightly nervous that it could have been a block in the back?

He was even playing corner back on defense today! My hat's off to him.

Had not Crayton cross the goal line first, I think he would have penalized for pushing on the back. Thankfully, his action was split second after Crayton go the TD.

Same here also. I was at the game, watching Crayton running down field. and Owens just FLEW down the field to for that block. It was unbeleivable the speed he had to get there.

YES!! I was pointing this out to my friends on that play. The way he blazed down the field to get that last little block in to let Crayton score...

I'm sure that ESPN will point out how he wasn't running down to block, but rather to try to get into the camera's eye and steal Crayton's thunder haha :p

I just heard on Cowboys OT Post game show that he said Iassac Bruce should get drug tested for guaranteeing a win against the Cowboys. Classic. Good one TO.

i guess someone saying that TO had lost a step is right now asking for the salt and ketchup before eating his words.
