T.O. INT vs PACKERS

I was watching the replay of the Cowboys/Packers game. Did anyone notice the support from the O-line, TO was getting after his tipped ball/Int on the sidelines? I have to admit I was ready to put my remote through the wall.

These guys walked right up to TO, tapped him on the back and said everything will be ok.

The media has under estimated the togetherness of this team. :starspin :D

I think I was too pissed throwing stuff around my living room than to continue watching the television. Helen Keller could have caught that ball, give me a break.

Good to hear that the team had TO's back though, because that was an awful, awful drop. And no, I'm not just trolling or trying to be difficult.. that was just a ball that should have been caught. That's the difference between Romo throwing 5 touchdowns and 0 interceptions, as opposed to 4 touchdowns with an interception.

I was pissed about it too, even after we won (especially considering I own both players in fantasy football), but hey... things happen.

Most QBs in the league have had potential TDs dropped this year.

All of them have at least a few INTs that were not actually their fault.

Just so happens Romo experienced both on the same play...

We've been pretty solid this year in regards to catching the ball, I think. T.O. had some drops early in the year, but other than the one against the Packers, I think he had gone like 6-7 games without a single blatant drop. Witten, Crayton, Hurd, Fasano, Austin, Curtis, and the RBs don't have too many drops combined either.

I am sure we were all pissed at the tarnishing of Romo's stats and giving the Packers an instant possession in crunch time, but it happens. Our players realize that people are just gonna **** up sometimes. They're human.

My number one concern isn't so much the mistakes but how we respond to them. And I must say we respond very well to adversity. Dropped a TD in crunch time? 'No problem'. Botched 3 snaps in one game? 'We got this'. 5 INTs? 'It ain't over yet'.

Bobbled FG hold in the playoffs? "We'll get em' next year". :D

It's funny how people use this logic. If that goes for a score who's to say that we would have needed another and treat our next drive with the same urgency? A TD there doesn't automatically mean Romo throws 5.

T.O. said the pass caught him by suprise, that he turned around and the ball was there. Give him a break, he hasnt been dropping many recently.

I was pissed too.

I wanted that one. More for Tony.
He would have had 5 TD games about a year apart. Last Thanksgiving and then again against the Packers.

I would hope the players have his back. They know he is a major part of their success... as is the O-line play.

That is why Dallas is so tough to beat.

I wanted to take a baseball bat to Kevin Burnett in the Meadowlands a few weeks back, but the coaching staff acted otherwise and he became a better player for it.

Ouch. Ouch.:laugh2:

Really I agree with the sentiment of your post though. Our team, simply put, responds.

Honestly, when was the last time a team drove and scored on us, and you didn't think we'd get the ball back and score on them, straight away? It's a great, great feeling.

True that. Kinda makes you wonder why we have people in the gamethreads posting "Game over" as soon as we are trailing more than 3 points in a game. Scarred by the Cowboys teams of recent years perhaps?

Oh well. This ain't your daddy's Cowboys! (actually your dad's Cowboys were probably pretty good too).
