I have been very critical of this guy since last year and after our 1st game where he didn't get out of bounds..

but have to admit once Dez went down..

he has really stepped up his game.

Nice to see.

Maybe we won't have to draft a WR after all next year.

Thoughts?

He does seem to have stepped up his game and it's good to see but, I'll be honest, I'm clutching my couch cushion every single time that guy has the ball in his hands. Nervously waiting for him to find a way to screw it up. We'll need a WR next year anyway as I don't think Dallas re-signs him next off-season. Someone is going to offer him more than we are willing to match. Just like Marvin Jones was scooped from Cincy this past off-season.

He has stretches for good games followed by stretches of games where he disappears. That's just what he is. If keeping him at a good price, I don't think it's a bad idea if it means we don't have to use a high pick on a WR. That willl allow us use the high picks on defense.

This. ^ he is inconsistent.
He has been.

Last year when he disappeared we all thought he had cratered.

And his first game this year was rough.

But when Romo was healthy he was a factor.

And now DAK is using him like Dez.

Butler,too.

So I am puzzled at this point with the guy.

Beasley is playing himself into a big contract soon.

But he's so small and isn't fast..but quick.

So he will not replace a TWill.

So I don'the know.

I like Butler but we need to see if he continues to grow.

There is now some major depth developing in the secondary, defensive line, offensive line, running backs, and with the performances over the past three games...wide receiver.

Does Dallas now re-up most of the contract due veterans, and hit at the defensive end/linebacker groups in the draft?

I'm always extremely pleased to see T-Will step up his game from time to time. But then again, there are those other times whereby he'll either disappear completely or do something outlandishly damaging to his team's chances. As far as his future is concerned, much hinges upon what he and his agent decide to do in terms of how much money they might seek to renew his contract. Being reasonable and not especially demanding moneywise would likely help his cause immensely. A little contractual affordability wouldn't fail to give JJ and Stephen the "warm fuzzies." ;)

This is what he is. He's listed as our number 2 but really he is the third maybe even fourth pass option on a run first team, how much can he really do? It's only one football. He just needs to cut the mental stuff with the fumble and not getting out of bounds.

He's so productive on his good days that you wanna forgive the brain facts. I still see him as a deep threat and RAC guy because he has shown this before. We use him differently now.

Ease off the gas there, Cowboy. TWill is the deep threat, and he isn't creating much consternation on the part of their defense.

Plus, keep in mind his mistakes that were covered up by others winning games.

I was a huge TWill fan. THis team needs a consistent deep threat that scares defenses and frees up Dez.

Get a receiver in the 2nd or third, defense end or linebakers has to be first pick. No more neglecting.
