Yes, they doubled him on the first one and on the 2nd one it 50-50 that the LB was intended to take the outside. In this scheme sometimes that LB has the outside contain and sometimes it's the DE.

You can't break down plays using football IQ with some of these guys. They will hate on a player no matter what. I seen Byron get blamed for a completion that Lewis passed off to Heath but Byron broke off to make the tackle

I think it might take him 2 years to start catching on (maybe less if he stays healthy) but once he catches on he'll be a dominant player.

You mean 2 years as in next year he’ll be fine I hope because Lawrence isn’t near the athlete Taco is and he had 8 sacks his second year. Taco will be balling next year from week 1.

Lawrence was not great his rookie season either, though not as bad as Taco

he is in desperate need of 2 NFL offseason training programs imo

At least during his rookie yr Dlaw had the broken foot as an excuse. And he did ball come playoff time. Taco appears to be struggling mightily with the physcal aspects of the game at this level. He’s going to have to become much stronger in the offseason cuz he’s getting punked a lot. I do expect progress but his issues seem to run deeper than did Dlaw at a similar stage of development. Hopeful that he can make that leap tho.

Really don’t get the hate for this guy, and I was pretty adamant before and right after the draft that I didn’t want him. At least give him the season before piling on. He’s been having weekly negative threads since before the preseason even started though like people are just looking for him to fail.

he will have 1.5 sacks this year and once Lawrence is gone or hurt in 2018, will up to 6.
