I just watched the week 6 game against the G-men and I'm so pumped for this Sunday's game. A-train starting, 4 turnovers, a missed field goal, a Whitten touchdown called back and we still beat them. I love the way we match up against them, especially our receivers against their secondary. I also like the penetration I see by our D-line. I really think we have a strong shot at going in there and beating them convincingly.

You wont like the way Bledsoe's back matches up with the ground. :(

Earlier in the season it was Philly's exotic blitz packages that would bring Drew and our offense to it's knees. Didn't happen, in either game. Now we're supposed to be scared of Osi Mynameistoolong and the Gaptoothed wonder . Flavor of the week.

The only thing that concerns me is that our coaching staff seems to have a tendency to out-think themselves.

Whenver we go up against a team that is poor against the run...we pass.

Whenever we go up against a team that is poor against the pass....we run.

It hasn't been like this EVERY week, but it has been happening.

I'd like to see the game-plan prior to the game, but, you know how that goes.

We're not the same team we were in week 6. Losing Flo really hurt this team. It totally changed the way we played on offense.

Having a hobbled Henry really hurts too. I don't like Reeves matching up with Toomer, Burress, or Carter.

I'm also disappointed at how we've approached road games this year. We drove right down the field vs Seattle and scored a TD. I think that drive looked easy.....but we seemed to hold back the rest of the game.

I think we can win this game. Win or lose, I think we make the game tougher on ourselves than we have to.

I was at the Denver game and you're right.....we're not the same team that we were in week 6, we are MUCH BETTER. Yes it hurts losing Flo, but Tucker is doing a stand up job in his absence and to honest with you, I don't miss any of Flo's drive killing holding penalties at all. Also, Crayton is most likely back for Sunday and Henry might be back too, but Glenn is doing a fine job in his absence. I'm telling you, we should roll over the Giants this weekend.

THANK YOU! getting tired of seeing, "I have a feeling we lose this game, yes, it's my 10th time saying it this year", and/or, "oh no, Osi and Strahan, even though the Giants have never won a game solely on their pass-rush", we beat the Giants in a nail-biter

Well, Denver was #2 against the run and we came out firing so that is not entirely true.

I agree losing Flozell has made a huge difference in our game and having Henry hurt won't help either. I'm not sure about the road games, however. Parcells has more faith in the defense than he does the offense right now (I think the OL is the reason this is true). On the road, it is typically harder to win or to really open it up. False start penalties multiply on the road and those are pretty painful in sustaining drives (the Giants last week in Seattle is a great example).

Some have all looked on with dismay at conservervative play calling, but Parcells has been known to open it up in the past. I think he is heavily influenced by the OL performance we are getting right now. He is counting on the defense to win mostly while occasionally getting aggressive. I think teams are daring Bledsoe to beat them and this game will be no exception.

I believe the Giant offense is better than ours right now. Their attack is pretty potent and has some balance. Parcells has no choice but to rely on his defense to stop the Giants. The offensive plan is going to be some kind of mix that Parcells hopes will give us enough points to win while avoiding too many opportunities for turnnovers. In other words, don't lose the game. I think that's what Parcells wants to happen. We'll see if it works out.

I have a sneaky feeling we will come out throwing steadily, early in the game. if Henry is back there will be more confidence in the defense to hold them, and we can take more chances. a lot seems to depend on field position, so getting some good kick returns for a change would be nice. i think we're due for another good solid game, and hopefully we'll win this one without going into overtime...
