Take your pick...OG or OT?

There is no way we pay for OG and OT in FA with these prices.

Either we sign Dielman, Davis, or Colombo, but not both positions.

Look to the draft for which ever position we don't sign.

I would rather have Colombo (sp?) back and replace Rivera, then keep Rivera and lose Colombo. Just my 2 cents.

IF that is the case, then sign Columbo. Its harder to find tackles then guards.

OT: they are always harder to find and more vital to pass protection.

I'd take Colombo and draft an OG, if that's the choice.

You know what I like about a possible Leonard Davis signing? He could do either. That versatility is a huge plus to me, and he allows you to draft the best offensive lineman available, if you so desire. You could take a tackle or a guard, depending on who was rated higher. Heck, you could even decide to let Procter and McQuistan fight it out for a spot in the starting lineup if you aren't able to bring back Colombo.

It was my hope to keep the team as it was last season as much as possible - I don't want to keep re-tooling things, especially in Phillips' first year.

Missing on Peterman and Rogers, then getting Rivera have hurt us in a big way now!

Count on one of McQuistan or Procter to be starting next yr  ...they may be good, but unproven.

I bet top olineman will go early this year in the draft because of the prices in FA now...

Anyone else think sports contracts have officially hit the ridiculous meter?

i think we will resign Columbo rather than signing a FA OT or OG. But then again who knows. I think McQuistan would be a better RT than LT.

Ahhhhh Yeah!

I'm almost preferring to not sign an olineman, and then draft both OG and OT early...let Proctor, McQuistan, and both picks battle it out.

Go get back up QB, and sign Peek or Polk...be done in FA.

With 2 holes on the O-line, I guess get ready for 8-8. No way can we win with McQ and Proctor or 2 Rookies. The NFC East D's would eat us alive.

I agree sign Columbo and get a guard in draft.
