What are the differences in coaching philosophies player reactions to them and the talent level on the teams? Where do these 2007 Cowboys stand vs time and place?

Brief summary:

Jimmy: Produce or you're gone. Lets players be individuals but has high expectations for them performance wise. Able to get high levels of performance out his players because he treats them according to the player they CAN be instead of the player they ARE. Aggressive/confident game management style.

Bill: dictator. Expects everything done HIS way. Some players love him/some hate him. Finds/forces players to fit HIS scheme. Conservative game management style.

Wade: Seems pretty easy going. A players coach that allows them to play with their natural abilities/instincts. Adjusts his scheme and defensive style to fit the players to "put the players in a position to make plays". Good Xs and Os coach with very aggressive defensive style.

To start I think Jimmy was the best evaluator of talent, Bill was the best motivator of talent and Wade is the players coach. Jimmy had the most talent in a (No Cap) system. Bill worked his way towards a watered down (Cap) team that was getting some where but became too concervative. Wade has a chance now that we finally have a FS, OG and a back up QB that is fine with being there. The draft to fill in gaps and Garrett and Sparano's knowledge to guide the "O". That is just the tip but a start. Please tell me why I'm wrong.

Um, I dunno, while Parcells showed some ability to motivate players his first year, to me he showed less with each succeeding year. I think he had become more than conservative, he was desperately clinging to what he knew and it just didn't work any more and he could not adjust to new ways and it was a fitting time for him to retire before things got ugly. The assistant coaches were deserting the ship in a breakout even before he declared his intentions, way before - they knew it was over.

Still I'm glad he came this way. He came, he saw he just didn't conquer.

The team is better for him having been here.

I think Wade is gonna do some good things with the team Big Bill built. Football is gonna be fun again.
