Talk about a Comeback!

Shocking and totally unexpected. This was the best game Dak has ever played. He didn't give up down 21-0 and just kept making plays. He doesn't have many signature wins, but this is certainly his finest hour so far. What a difference Willaims and Pickens have made. If this team can sneak into the playoffs healthy, they are going to give people problems.

A guy at my church I like a lot is a die-hard Eagles fan. All last year and for the first 5-6 games this year I got these snarky texts when Dallas lost.

I don’t get one tonight, and I chose to be the bigger person and not send him one.

Instead, I’m gonna send him some condolence flowers tomorrow.

Ok, not really, but I’d like to!
Just send a simple smiley face.:)

Good call. Aubrey missed on he normally does not miss but made up for it at the end of the game.

And really, I. Clark getting beaten like a government mule before running the width of the field to knock the ball out of the returners hand and Sieg making the recovery was pretty amazing.
Yeah, that was a proud moment!

I’m talking specifically about them making a stop at the end when they needed it. Move along.
What about the offense after that moving them into field goal range where special teams ended it?

We really had no business winning that game. Eagles played worse than they have in two years. Hopefully they spiral like they did in 2023
The Eagles played like a team that was getting dominated by their opponent.

Stop trying to diminish credit.

They had two fumbles and a missed FG. That’s called beating yourself. But keep telling yourself what a dominant team we are.

You should watch the game! Particularly the turnover on the punt return. That TO was caused by the hit and hustle of the Cowboys special teams.

Do you think that defenses that are credited with the most turnovers every year are just random? They are simply benefiting from the other teams mistakes?

Yes, but if you told me the Cowboys defense would shut out the Eagles in the second half I wouldn’t believe it. You knew eventually the offense would pick it up but how many times have we seen that happen and then the defense can’t hold?
Obviously all three phases of the game were big but I’m pointing out what a few weeks ago was an historically bad defense come out and shut them out and in crunch time.
If the Cowboys are going to pull off a run here the defense paying like that is going to have to happen. I’m just happy to see that sign yesterday.,

Sorry, I was still hyped about the win yesterday and overreacted a bit. It was really nice to see how the defense manned up like they did. Hope they can keep it going.
