Garrett being fired was a 50/50 deal.
He has a substantially better record than the coaches fired already.

Argument about stagnating is easy to make against him all the same.

I am fine with Garrett returning but I'd like 2 new coordinators. Younger guys running modern schemes.

Well supposedly even if we do bring in a new offensive coordinator it'll be to run Garrett's offense just like what Callahan did.

I know and that is bad. We were largely successful on offense w Romo but are too predictable and teams sit on plays that lead to bad turnovers. Want to see rub plays and some misdirection w Dez. Take advantage of all the coverage he draws. And of course a play caller that will run when it is working.

The two of them were pretty heated throughout the broadcast. Mickey towed the company line and Bryan wants Garrett axed. They always disagree on stuff, but today was particularly testy at times.

By the way, on The Break Derek Eagleton told one of the other crew members to be quiet (not Eatman). So even the Cowboys in-house media people are frustrated.

its a meaningless argument because Garrett isn't the problem. They are playing at same level that have for 14 years which is .500 football.

Listen to the whole show - painfull. Really didn't go anywhere. Need to get get better! Ya think? Need better players? duh. However, it was cathartic - got all the angry disappointment out.

Cowboys need to have Micky be a Designated Driver who takes Miles and Ware (and all the other Cowboys) who are about to be cut to the airport. Let him wear white gloves and talk about the good ole days of the 90's.

Did anyone watch fox nfl pregame show? Terry Bradshaw trashed Jerry and Garrett last week and this week he tells how Jerry sends him a fancy Christmas tree ornament every year. This year it was smashed into a thousand pieces. They asked him if it was a shipping mishap and he said no.

Mick was pissy that the show started without him. Mick rambled on that change isn't always good and you need consistentcy.

BB argued that 3 years of 8-8 is enough and that change is needed. He also pointed out that offensive playcalling was questionable.

The first 10 minutes was very heated. If you saw the video, the tension was extremely high. On the first break, no eye contact, no talking, nothing. They were both heated.

The resistible force meets the movable object.

Mickey is the single biggest d-bag covering any sport.

Using Mickeroo's arguments (his words) ...

If I'm so bad, who are you going to replace me with? Who out there is better? Give the Cowboys a better option and I may agree with you. This ain't fantasy media. :D

He knows Jerry isn't replacing Garrett so that's what he thinks. I can promise you if Jerry was about to fire Garrett he'd be on the other side of the argument.

Mickey is the prototypical homer!!!! The team can do no wrong in his rose colored glasses view. We have a few of those types right here in this forum. They just ignore the obvious and always think the future is bright. They can't see the forest because all the trees are in the way!!!!

Broadus is a moron of epic proportions.

he hated the timeout call on the 4th and goal call. they would of kicked a field goal if we didn't use that time out he says.

hey moron, we stopped them from getting any points. 0 is better then 3 *******

Well at the time almost everyone was scratching their heads because Philly would have had a 5 yard penalty and had to kick a FG. Luckily we then stopped them at the goal line but don't try to act like this defense was sure to stop them! Broaddus was at least coming up with legit concerns where all Mickey said was "we need to get better" well duh Mickey ya think!

finally able to watch the entire thing...Mickey is an idiotic jerry-drone...while I have always been so-so on Broaddus, I loved that he kept saying in the first half of the video "Who's fault is it?" over and over in reference to Jones being the problem...Mickey would NEVER diss his meal ticket...but, if JJ came back and said "we are moving on from Jason", then Mickey will crawl up his behind to agree with that....I cannot STAND yes-men....in any line of work...

then everyone is pretty stupid as they don't seem to understand the timeline. the timeout occurred prior to the penalty. at the time he took the timeout, the defense was in a state of chaos.

I know that the timeout happened before the penalty.....I'm not going to argue with you about if the timeout should have been called or not. We lost by 2 so even if we didn't call the timeout and they kick the FG they would have lost by 5 instead so your initial post about Broaddus is an idiot because zero points are better than 3 is a moot point now.

Mickey came on all pissey cause they started the show without him. He just wanted to aruge with Brodus. Funny part is Mickey some of Mickey's statements supported what Brodus point.

i get so tired of hearing Mickey utter, in a sassy way, his most common phrase " I understand that". I personally have never figured out what " that" is that he understands, maybe it all channels back to understanding that Jerry signs his check.
