In Babe's defense (can't believe I'm saying that), it was well noted by other former QB's (Gruden and Jaws) that Romo did not look good or right doing camp and the first few games. As the season progressed, he loosened up and the rest is history.

Babe says a lot of dumb things, so I suppose that makes him easy to dislike, but I like him, overall. If he said Romo looked back early in camp last year, I believe it. He was really hampered early in the season, and I remember thinking most of the offseason that the concern was getting blown way out of proportion the way Dallas press does. Then watching that SF game and thinking 'uh-oh.' He was really hobbled early on and didn't look like himself.

The show just opened up in Oxnard, CA and they are on the field talking Cowboys.

Glad to hear Nate Newton will be a new member this year. Wasn't clear which show. I love listening to Nate talk football equally as much as the Playmaker.

In my opinion, there is a difference between stating someone didn't look comfortable throwing the ball, which was a general observation made by a number of onlookers, and implying or stating Romo's career appeared to be in dire jeopardy. I questioned the forum member who alluded he or she said Romo looked "worse than his grandmother"--despite video showing his throwing motion wasn't indicative of an elderly invalid woman. I could be remembering incorrectly but I believe Laufenberg was the only media observer implying he would not be surprised if Romo's career was at its end because of his physical condition.

Laufenberg's  career should be over, he is useless.

Romo looked like a shell of himself through the first few weeks of the season.
