I know this is more slated to the NFL forum, but this is nuts.

When was the last time a regular season game got postponed or moved?

Irma is a pretty big storm. Just moved to Category 5. Supposed to hit Florida sometime this weekend. For the safety of players and fans, it had to be moved.

Oh I know, I'm in South Florida. Just curious on when was the last time a regular season game was moved/postponed.

Move it to Tallahassee, Gainesville or Jacksonville. It would be unfair for them to postpone and then have no bye week.

Would you rather them play football in a hurricane?

I thought Andrew Siciliano was going to die after the announcement.

"Can they play in Miami on Monday?"

Clearly that ******* yankee has never been through a hurricane.

Irma is no joke - it's not out of the realm of possibility that it could be the most powerful hurricane ever recorded.

Hopefully our CZ brethren braving the panhandle make it out okay.

I'm amazed that both teams have their bye week on week 11. Guess that could be in play, as I thought that would be impossible to reschedule if they had different bye weeks.

Why would it be postponed? They can play somewhere else, postponement is not an option.

before the nfl got wussified and started including Dr's and science and stuff in the good ol days they would have played in a hurricane. back when men were men.

You think Mike Ditka would have feared a Hurricane? Buddy ryan would have put a bounty on irma, Bill Walsh would have developed a way to revolutionize the passing game in a hurricane and Bill Parcells would have thrown a garbage can at it. MEN.

It's times like this that we need David Buehler to park himself on the beach in Miami and simply dropkick the storm to oblivion.

I don't know...the league could take 13 months to decide and then delay the decision another day or two for good measure....

I work with NASA and they gave us a warning that is based on threat levels of winds at least 58 mph and what time they project it to arrive.

Level 4 is the lowest level and that is what we are at right now. Meaning that there is a 0% chance that 58+ mph winds hit here in the next 72 hours (from 8 am). Everything projects towards getting here at Sunday at the earliest.

The scary part of the storm is the wind has picked up and there's a decent chance that it may hit the SW side of the state which means it is even more likely to go up the East Coast and at the very least, go up to the Carolinas.

I know there was a time a Dolphins' game was played on a Saturday instead of a Sunday due to a storm coming. I also remember the 49ers-Patriots game was moved from Candlestick to Stanford in 1989 I believe due to an Earthquake.

Maybe that's where Moore needs to go so a little breeze from a cat 5 hurricane could add some zip to his deep pass.
