Choice is a hard kid to root against. He was one of the only guys in December of last year to display any real gutsy performances - against 4 top 5 defenses to boot.

That glimpse he showed us last year was very impressive. He is rapidly becoming one of my favorite players on the team.

I never thought that would happen.

Do you have one of those CBRs in your sig? I'm starting to look around. I don't have the better half's approval yet but I will work that into the plan on the back end. :)
I need to talk to you about Harleys.

I just put my money down on a 2008 CBR 1000RR that is exactly like the one in my sig (black/yellow).

The 2009's are pretty much exactly the same as the 2008's are, but if you can find a dealer who has an '08 in stock still... they are reduced in price.

If you are going to get a sportbike, here are two good articles to read. The 2008 and the 2009 Superbike (literbike) Showdown from MotorcycleUSA.com. They have the usual suspects, i.e. the Honda CBR 1000RR, the Suzuki GSXR 1000, the Yamaha R1, the Kawasaki ZX-10R, and even a Ducati.

In both smackdowns the Honda CBR 1000RR came out on top, primarily because of it's low-end torque, excellent workmanship, and ability to shine on the street as well as the track. They are all crazy fast... but quality and comfort aren't as uniform throughout.

Which leads me to this: If you don't have some pretty extensive experience on motorcycles... a literbike is NOT the place to begin for you. Really, even the 600's are crazy fast (they are capable of putting up a < 10 second quarter mile)... but they are easier to control than the literbikes.

Once you know what you're doing though... there is nothing close to a 1000cc sportsbike like the CBR... except for maybe what fighter pilots experience in their lives.

I like both types. I raced bikes when I was younger and all types are in my blood.

However, once someone wants a sportbike... nothing else is going to do for them, in my experience. They want that look, that speed, and that handling.

I must say however, that once somebody wants a Harley... the same thing applies. Nothing else will do for them either.

It really is a simple matter of choice.

For me, I can't get the sportsbikes out of my system. They are like being on top of a jet canopy. Riding through some winding roads with a bike like the CBR underneath me is like pure heaven.

For long distance though, there is no comparison. Harley is the way to go without a doubt.

Different strokes...

Anyone know what the heck Tulius did to Felix and attempted to do with Marion? I didn't get what they were trying to do.

I hope this type of chemistry is contagious in the locker room throughout the season. Thanks for the video. I have not laughed like that in a long time ( i had tears in my eyes). It looks like "Tulius" have a running gag where they go around the locker room slicing people....with their finger nails acting as a blade. Julius tried to pre-emptively get barber but barber wasn't having it...then bowen got tashard while he was filming....seems like this locker room is headed in the right direction. As for Roy, he was throwing up the dueces he was fine just cause he wasnt in stiches like "Tulius" doesnt mean he's not appreciating the laugh. I agree that was a bit of a reach.

Yep, and he smiled as the camera was on him and we have no idea how much he was laughing when the camera was not on him.

Should we assume Marion Barber was pissed off because he was not laughing? No, because that too would be a reach.

Marion Barber doesn't say anything anyway....he speaks that Predator language.

Anyone have the font from their locker room nameplates??

His lady is hesitant. Harley's can fix that hesitancy.

Yeah, I couldn't figure it out either. I laughed when it got to Hurd though.

i was about to be brave and confess my ignorance - but it appears i'm not the only one who had no idea what they were doing.

seems like a whole lot of "you had to be there" jokes, but on the whole, good to see them having fun!

Choice is the future starting RB. Felix will be the change of pace guy and Barber the finisher.

DallasEast, if it were Bennett instead of Choice, the Nervous Nellies would've been out in full force to bemoan his "immaturity" and lack of professionalism in the locker-room. Hence my comment.
