Last year, I saw Vaughn as a big kid with a good enough arm to play in this league and with nice athleticism. He had really good pocket presence which to me, is the #1 priority for any QB in this league.

Cosigned.

18 days until they report, 20 for 1st practice.
It may seem like a long 20 days, but look at it as less than 3 weeks away.
The longest day will be the day before the 1st practice. I need to keep very busy that day.....LOL....
At least the 1st week of July has passed, and it won't be long now.

I think the most interesting area / player, people want to see how McFadden looks and plays.
If room looks fat...LOL...
Are the cheerleaders in shape....which I bet they are....

I want to see how Mo and Lee have recovered. We know Lee will look great, but how will Mo look and play. If Mo looks decent enough, how much time will Jones & White get at S.
And the various ways the DL lines up.

It would be easier to list what I'm not focused on:
Tyron
Fred
Martin
T. Crawford
Mincey
Bailey
Romo, other than to see that he is healthy.
Dez, other than to see he is there.
L.P.
The punter.

I would prefer they minimize the amount of work that Lee gets.

I want to see competition and fighting.

I want the "check" guys weeded out and cut!

I want to see guys that are doing "just enough" get pushed by vets!

I will be looking more in general terms, specificallity at how der defense looks and what central characters will emerge as leaders.
Also, the RB spot will be intriguing. I want early indications if the RB by committee will work or if Randle will take the lead.

Randle did get the lead in a fruit of the loam commercial.

I think I am most interesting in seeing if Wilcox progresses because we really need him to get better in coverage.

He's recently been reported to be plagued with plantar fasciitis. I don't know what his current state is but it's often known to be very slow within the recovery process. As you likely know, this foot problem is devastating for those whose jobs depend upon running. Let's just hope he recovers before the upcoming season gets underway.

Seriously there is something to watch for at every position on the field. The only exceptions I can think of is Bailey and Fredbeard.

Ahh...Bailey....yes! That is, if Garrett does not ice one of his kicks! lol

Just one time i'd love to see our rookies not get destroyed by injuries.

Good luck with that, but injuries do happen, especially with the way this team is getting built. Last year was no fluke...only the strong is going to survive.

I want to finally see the NFL rule on Hardy one way or another so he can take it to court before the season begins if need be.

It's all about the defense... 9 will lead the offense well enough regardless of the RB situation... The defense remained a mystery all through last season, and this year will be no different. For all the defense lacked in schematic talent last season, they played with an edginess that wasn't seen in years prior, I'm interested to see if they can maintain that edginess and hopefully build on it in 2015-16.

Just want to see our D healthy and how much Cole Beasley improves. I think those 2 things could take the Cowboys a long way.

No injuries
Dez vs Byron - If he can hang with Dez then the kid has a very bright future
Gregory blow by Tyron on a consistent basis

I want to see some swagger, something we've been missing since the 90's.
