TD pass to Polite

Just saw a replay of that catch by Polite. Did anyone see Witten in the endzone by himself? Take your pick Drew......

Polite was the first option on the play.


QBs don't "throw to the most open guy", they go through their progressions and throw to the first one they think is open. Polite as the first in his progression.

I know. I'm not saying "why didn't he throw it to Witten?" I just thought "wow when was the last time you two guys wide open for TD's against the Eagirls" The closest guy was probably 5 yards trailing him

If you guys remember that was the same play they ran in pre-season for a touchdown to Polite...I think it was against Jacksonville or Houston at home.....

Yep... same exact play... it was @ Seattle.. second game.
