If the reports of him being uncoverable in practice last season are true, the rookie DBs can look forward to a looooong wknd. The legend begins...

Well if he pans out and turns out to be a threat, like Tyler Eifert type or even Gates like someone mentioned, then there will be our other threat opposite Dez receiving wise.

That's a big If though. But hey, I hope so.

This to me is more exciting than Jaylon because if this guy can produce, he will be a nightmare, red zone match up and will open the field for our other talented WR corps. Who you gonna cover? Rico, Bryant, Zeke, Beasley, Witten, Wiliams, Switzer, etc.

Exactly what I'm saying. He will take pressure off Dez.

I don't ever remember being this excited for the new season

I was in 2008; felt like a new chapter. Young franchise QB that just put up an MVP caliber season, young franchise TE, elite pass rusher, elite receiver...best power back in the league.

And 2010? I believe that was the season after Romo won his first playoff game. I thought we were finally over the playoff hump...little did I know it would be 4 seasons before we had a winning season again.

I was also in 2015. Playoff team that just added 3 first round caliber players plus another elite pass rusher in free agency. Yeah we lost Murray but I felt good with Romo/Dez and our OL..especially with an improved pass rush.

I am as optimistic as they come but considering the lack of consistency this team has had for the past two decades; it's hard not to expect the worst but always hope for the best. It seems like our best seasons are the seasons where I have little expectations...last season and 2014 fall in that category.

Hopefully Dak/Zeke really are a new chapter. Right now I can't say I feel much different than the 2008 season.
