When is the last true leader you remember on this team?

Romo tried but never really got the respect but never exactly demanded it. Didn’t work.

Dez, some thought he was a locker room divider like TO. Not true, he was a very passionate player that would get in players faces to pump them up and sometimes argued. Did I agree with him clearing off the gator side table or yelling at some. No, but when he tries to be a leader it wasn’t received well.

D-Ware, tried to lead by example, didn’t work.

Witten, a stand up player that again leads by example, didn’t work.

No player really becomes a leader here. And you hear it all the time, where are the leaders. Time for the leaders to stand up and take control.

Had Elliot and Dak that they said was gonna do the job. Elliot has been silenced by our playcalling and Dak can’t seem to get it going and you don’t see him in the faces of the O-Line or TE when they miss a block or get a penalty.

The Hot Boyz started hot but D-Law is really just wanting a big contract. I don’t blame him but he isn’t going to be a leader.

Everyone just wants a paycheck. I think it’s the condition that JJ has set up here. The atmosphere. He wouldn’t mind having some players that are leaders. He just don’t want a HC to be one. Takes away from his glory. Without a true leader on the sidelines it’s always gonna be tough.

Aikman demanded respect and took control of the Offense. That was a long long time ago.
Snake (hamstring) Lee.

You can’t win consistently like that. You can have a season here and there. Until you get to the playoffs when the players look to and needs a leader on the sidelines that will make the right choices. The players can’t look to the sky box for that.

yes, you can lead from the owners box - ever here of Joe Robby ... Paul Brown ... Al Davis ... Jerry Buss?

JJ is as problematic an owner as they come - but he does want to win - that's something - many owners don't seem to care

the net effect is the best man don't always play and the O is way over twaeked

I'm not quite sure what you're saying but yes Beasley is a leader to what I'm saying is it's not coming out all the time and in certain situations but I would agree with you that Beasley it's definitely a leader I don't know what the 10 to 15% means
:),well, He's thinking he's needing an extra zero,or,two on his monetary annual bottom-line& with him being a former Q.B., I believe he's got the pre-snap "read" down , about the best of anyone we trot out on the field here lately, now, all I ever recall seeing him throwing the ball were 'heave's' around 20-30 yards, but, the #21 wouldn't be made to look like a "no jump chump" cuz' the 6 yard screen pass is 3' over his head/ behind him,,,and,,, I'm also thinking the #11 could keep a 10-15 yard forward pass up above his receivers ankle range of ther' catching circumference,,, and that my Friend, isthe basis of my posted statement/ criteria
