That makes no sense, when those teams have played 14 games after playing the Boys the week before... 3 and 7 does not add up to 14...

OK, I went in and figured it out... the key here is "after they played the Cowboys the week before"... this year, 4 teams had byes in the week immediately after playing the Cowboys-- the Skins after the first game, the Raiders, the Iggles after the first game and the Seahawks...

And for the other ten teams, they did indeed go 3-7 the following week...

I am correct, I am not including when the team has a bye week the week after they played the Cowboys, just the week right after.

Week 2- SD loses
Week 3 - Was has bye
Week 4 - SF loses
Week 5 - Oak has bye
week 6 - Philly has bye
Week 7 - Giants win
Week 8 -Seattle has bye
Week 9 - AZ loses
Week 10 -We had bye week 9
Week 11 -Philly loses
Week 12 -Denver loses
Week 13 -Giants win
Week 14 -KC loses
Week 15 - Wash wins

I don't really know that this means anything without seeing teams played, days rest between games etc. Too many variables for this stat to mean anything to me.

Having said that, we do play a physical game so it's nice to think we beat these teams up a bit. Who knows for sure.
