6'7" 272 lb DE from Penn State. Younger brother of QB Ryan Nassib. 15.5 sacks this season in his first year as a starter but is he a one-year wonder or is this the beginning of a great pass rusher?

Could be an interesting player, especially if he has a good workout. He's one guy I'm keeping an eye on for sure.

Penn State fan from NJ here...Naasib was a former walk on that came to penn state as a tall lanky kid that was weak for his size. 3 years of hard work and dedication added about 30 pounds of muscle to his frame and he came to play his Sr year. That's the 1st thing that will come out of anyone's mouth about him that has been around Naasib...what a hard worker he is in all aspects of preparing and what a great teammate he is.

Now, will his Sr year translate to the NFL stats wise? Ehh, I have my doubts honestly. I don't see any 1 skillset of his that stands out a whole lot as far as NFL talent goes. With that said, he does just about everything well and there's no doubt that with his mindset and dedication he will have a long NFL career. I see him as being a good strong side DE in a 4-3 that will contribute 6-10 sacks a year. Not a 1st round talent, but a guy you'd love to have on your team if you can get him after that.

What's crazy is that he basically didn't play the last few games and still had over 15 sacks. He had a sack in every game until he got hurt. He certainly isn't lacking in the work ethic and intangibles categories. Contrast that with some of the freak athletes who are taken in the top 10 and end up being lazy, unmotivated, or off the field nightmares.

He's a really interesting guy to watch over the next few years. Could end up being a Clay Matthews type that goes from walk-on to stud. He could also be a 1 year flash in the pan that you basically never hear from again.
