The sheer ballsiness of Romo to pick up that ball... after kicking it another 10 yards or so... and try to make a play with it.

I'm a big Dak fan too, but man... Romo had such a playmaker's mentality. His whole career felt like 1 long breathtaking highlight reel.

i think prescott is going to be great for years to come but those years with romo in his prime was a lot of fun..

Eh. I love Romo but only 06/07 were fun. 08 was filled with drama. 09 was tense. 10 was a disaster and 11-13 were filled with mediocrity, ups and downs; but mostly down.

Do I think Romo's career was all flash and no substance? Yeah so what. Why are you offended by that?

He threw for a lot of yards and a lot of touchdowns in a pass happy league and he and the cowboys fans had a lot of fun watching. Congratulations I'm happy for you all.

I never said he sucked. I've said not on this board but to other fans that he's better than I ever gave him credit for. But in the end what does he have to show for it. Fun times and what else?

Some days I feel like it's a waste of time to think of the past, and it drives me nuts.... but some days, man, I think what cold have been.

I mentioned this is another thread as well, but 2007 was a very fun season to watch. I will never forget it. My buddy worked for a Coors distributor and he gave me this HUGE Coors light Dallas Cowboys schedule. I hung it up and week after week I kept writing a W next to the games as the season went on. I thought for sure we had a magical season. Stoopid Giants!

Also, what's with the negative nancys? Fans aren't allowed to reminisce?

I'm with you. That 07 season was such a huge dissapointment. I get angry thinking about it. My fandom was never the same after that season. Never been able to get it close to that either. I've become that cranky cowboys fan who can't stand other cowboys fans. I'll admit that. When other cowboys fans are 100% optimistic and full of hope and enthusiasm, I see myself in them when I was younger and realize that it was all a waste of time.

So when I run down Romo, people think that I think he sucks. I don't think he sucks. I think he could have been much more than he was. And that bothers me. And I'm sorry but the 07 season and that play against the rams just sums everything up in my opinion about all of it. Sure it was an exciting play and brought everyone to their feet, but in the end it was a 3 yard gain. Sorry to be so negative, but you can thank that team for why I've felt that way the past 10 years.

I get it. So many heartbreaks over the years. Don't lose faith! One day the Cowboys will get there. I'm not even thinking super bowl I'm thinking NFCC at this point.

Not ashamed to admit it. Romo is my favorite Cowboy ever. And I was football cognizant during the Triplets era.

Ten Years ago today Dallas played the Rams at Texas Stadium and Romo made his signature play. I can still sense the atmosphere from this day. The stadium was awesome and it was a great moment to be a part of.

Thanks for sharing video of that whole drive. It brought a smile to my face. I think the most entertaining part was the reaction of the crowd to Romo's play.

Ot here, why are pundicts saying the Rams beating Dallas would be " Shocking"? Would it really be a huge upset? Me thinks not.
