Look guys the titans don't really have to do anything until goodell reinstates pacman. They dont have to pay him a dime while on suspension, so right now the titans are in no rush to deal him. When the titans have to start paying him then will see movement, until then were at a stalemate.

But what if Goodell DOESN'T reinstate him? Then the Titans get NOTHING. That is why they gamble if they wait until maybe he is reinstated.

IF he dosent reinstate him then they continue to hold on to him. As long as the titans dont have to pay him he really isn't causing them any harm. Like i said when the titans have to start paying him then you'll see some movement.

Jerry's rightly drawn his line in the sand.

He's made his best offer.

We'll see if the Titans take it or gamble and lose it all.

I hope you are right. I don't have a major problem with PM coming on board, but I do have a problem with the way the Titans have conducted their negotiations. How can they possible ask Jerry to reimburse them for part of their obligation to PM that he earned while with the Titans?

Jerry didn't make the mistake in drafting PM with all of his baggage - the Titans did. They want Jerry to pay for their mistakes.

Their posture however could be good for the Cowboys if the trade falls through. However, PM will be the biggest loser. The Cowboys have in place an excellent program to help troubled players and MAYBE they could help PM. That remains to be seen if they trade for him. Without a good support group and program there is always the likelihood that his past conduct will continue.

The Oilers were always my second team when they were in Texas because they were in Texas. They were a long, long way behind the Cowboys however. When they moved to TN I continued with warm (not hot) support. Now, they have fallen back into the pack and are no longer on the radar. I'm sure they would be devastated if they knew that. smile.

Cowboys owner: Pacman trade talks have "no energy"
By JIM WYATT • Staff Writer • April 16, 2008

Speaking to Dallas-area reporters, Jones said his team right now is more concerned with the draft than the suspended TItans cornerback.

"There's really no change in that status at all. There has been no movement. We've been focused, as well as I'm sure the Titans have been focused on this draft,'' Jones said.
Contrary to reports, the Cowboys have not increased their offer in the last week, according to sources familiar with the situation.

Same offer, I hope. We'll allow you to play football. No millions, you're to be addressed as Adam and you WILL take care of the young man you're responsible for crippling......Rain Man.

Holy crap!!! I sounded JUST like my parents. It IS true...........................:cry2:
