Yeah, wonder if he's talking about his best case scenario at the end of this year: we don't offer him another contract and he sits and takes an mediocre offer from a horrible team?

Does THAT count as "taking your job?"

The way we offer out second contracts, I am not so sure if he "earns" one if it is the best thing for the franchise. He won't have to do much.

Sad to say this is completely accurate. At least Crawford can admit he plays horribly after signing his huge contract. I'd love to like TWill, but he's NEVER learned to catch with his hands and disappears from games worse that Dez.

While I don't blame Williams as much, I'm still pissed at Crayton.

Of course you are. People have been irrationally blaming Crayton for that loss for a while.

I get it. If a player is not "popular" they get the horns.

Williams has been pretty indignant in the media. And I can understand that.

It is hard to play opposite Dez. You draw all that single coverage. And it is always the guy who is the second best CB and is trying harder to prove something. And then the QB doesn't look your way after a single glance. He never waits for you to get open late!

It is tough being TWill.

He hasn't done much less than Alvin Harper except that he does not get the style points.

I know how Harper was perceived back then and until that catch in Candlestick, it was not much better than Williams' rep.

So you honestly believe that Bryant commands that much that it should be pitch and catch with Williams?

Serious question.

The same things that people are excusing Bryant for are experienced by Williams.

He is in the same system and running the same bizarre routes. Over and over again.

We need a #2 who can stretch the field. Beas and Witten are great at moving chains but we need someone who has some wheels. Dez is not that guy, either. We have to make defenses play more than the first 10 yards from the LOS if we're ever going to do anything. Romo being down makes it even more imperitave.

So, is this the obligatory, "turn the thread into a hate on Garrett" thing? Because that is all that anyone can say around here.

Just like the hate on Zimmer, and Payton, etc.

How about TWILL get out of bounds if he can. I'm glad this is his last year. I saw it in his eyes he stay out of bonds on purpose. This whole team is a tool box, just pick one. I wish these guys would put the same effort in their twitter battles as they do in execution.

This article seems to be quoting him from his previous postgame comments. Click bait.
