Who wrote this nonsense? Not exactly Pulitzer Prize winning writing... the first sentence is, "The disdain from Dallas Cowboys fans continues to pour in with the scope aimed squarely at Terrance Williams, due to his bewildering choice to remain in bounds and cost the team a needed win in Week 1."

Really? More like "cost a bunch of fans the chance to see Dan Bailey come up 10 yards short on a 65 yard field goal."

I'm not even mad at twill.. it's not his fault our coaches are completely over matched week in week out.

We got the Patriots making Marty B. Playing like a complete animal out there and our idiot coaches relegated him to second fiddle.

Twills job is safe. Butler hasn't showed a damn thing so I don't even want to talk about him.
When you start off with the Bennett comment I can never take you seriously.

Yeah, wonder if he's talking about his best case scenario at the end of this year: we don't offer him another contract and he sits and takes an mediocre offer from a horrible team?

Does THAT count as "taking your job?"
I think he sees the issue.

He just saw Devin Street change zip code and he was supposed to push Williams.

Playing opposite Witten and Dez should leave him with tons of opportunities but he is still very average.

Perhaps Butler will get more opportunities after Sundays gaff.

Hope so.

Everyone should always feel their job as at risk. If only the team were run that way.

The Cowboys lost that game in the first half when they could not score touchdowns and had to settle for field goals instead. Yes, Terrance should have run out of bounds, and yes, Bailey may or may not have made the kick, but having to rely on all of that was only due to the inability to capitalize on the opportunities the Cowboys had in the first half.

Really hope so too, man. Would love to see what Butler could do. Especially with a little bit more of a rapport with Dak. Seems to have the same speed as Twill, with some better route running and hands.

I don't have to defend anything. There's a mountain of evidence saying that he had no chance at making that kick without a leg transplant and a trip to Denver. The fact that so many of our deluded fans actually think he had a chance to make it is the truly funny thing about it.

I'd say Bailey's range is up to 60 at home.....i dont think he wouldve made it anything more than that either.

So, is this the obligatory, "turn the thread into a hate on Garrett" thing? Because that is all that anyone can say around here.

Just like the hate on Zimmer, and Payton, etc.
I remember fans wanting Zimmerman and Payton ran out of town
I remember fans screaming for Roy Williams then screaming at jones for doing it
I remember fans complaining about ware over Merriman
That's the nice thing about being a fan. You can change you opinion each week and their or no ramifications
For a team there is ramifications and there is no changing your mind once a decision or deal is done

He had 3 catches for 14 yards against Arizona Sunday night.

Exactly how is that "Playing like a complete animal out there"???

Because it's the thing to do on here. People exaggerate our flaws and others accomplishments; even minimal ones.

Plenty of finger pointing to go around and they can start with the sideline. Team loss, move on and get a team win.

Williams has his faults and, yes the play at the end of the game was stupid. People are taking it too far with calling him and even Dez bad. Neither of them are the types of receiver who is going to excel with the QB play the last season+ 1 game. There's a reason why Beasley and Witten are receiving the number of targets they are and it's the same reason Williams and Dez aren't. When the QB is looking to throw the ball short(either by design or tendency), Williams and Dez are not going to have the numbers we're used to with Romo. They hardly ever run slants or any other quick routes so they don't look productive. In 2014 and the playoffs that year, Williams was a very productive player.

Of course you are. People have been irrationally blaming Crayton for that loss for a while.

I get it. If a player is not "popular" they get the horns.

Williams has been pretty indignant in the media. And I can understand that.
Why wouldn't they. He catches that.pass, we win the game. That ball couldn't have been thrown any better.
