As frustrated as I am, who do you replace him with? He's the fastest WR the Cowboys have and does make impact plays.

I think it could potentially be a good thing. It gets the mistakes out of the way early and lights a fire under his *** . He will be a better wr down the stretch for it.

This is the dumbest ******* thing I've ever seen for everybody to crucify Williams then they should also crucify Dunbar and FYI a 63 yard FG is no gimme. Also Beasley dropped a touchdown pass

FWIW, I have been.

Both Dunbar and Williams should no longer be on the team. Such huge mental mistakes should be addressed harshly.

"Who is going to take their place, Mr. Smart Guy?"

Sign a couple of JAGS. Next man up, try not to **** it up, son. Let's face it, we wouldn't miss Dunbar too much production-wise and Butler is as good as The Bodycatcher.

On the other hand, if I'm, what, top 50-60 in the world at something I do--something that people actually really really want to do well in the first place--and a bunch of fat, barely literate ham-and-eggers jumped all over me every time I wasn't able to make a play that I desperately wanted to be able to make, and did it anonymously without, most of the time having any real clue what they were talking about....I'd be fairly tempted to tell them to suck an egg, too.

True. But I think in those cases people usually let it roll off due to confidence knowing you're top 50-60. In this case, Williams lashes out because those fat, illiterate slobs are actually right. And that hurts bad.

Players are like everybody else. Some of us have thicker skins than others of us. Some are more blunt than others.

At the end of the day, I don't care what Williams thinks of the fans. We need whichever wideout is getting looks opposite Dez to break open games for us. They guys we've got on the roster now are capable of doing it. They need to get it done.

That's designed. They were doing it in camp, too.

It's always the second WR that is suppose to open up the offense and take the double teams off Dez or TO or whoever when it comes to the Garrett offense...

He was crying at his

Yep. And it's time to start just assuming he won't.
That's why this playing of DAK is so important.

Passing the baton from Romo as seemlessly as possible is now the objective.

I believe both QBs can get us where we want to go.

If Romo has to take #2QB in order to do that..

If he gets healthy..then we see.

Has he under performed any more than some higher picks like Escobar and Claiborne?

Claiborne is a completely different story. He's a 4th overall (IIRC.) Escobar is just a bad pick. Receiving TE, that doesn't have the ability to find space and make plays. But yes, they've all underperformed.

Can you explain that? What is it designed to do ??

Remember that clip of one of the great Dez TDs in camp where the froze the CB by having the WR stand at the line and then brought Dez in behind into the hole in the coverage it created? I'll see if I can find the clip.

If you've got man coverage, you basically sacrifice a route option in order to have the remaining defenders cover the rest of the field since you've tucked one defender up on the line of scrimmage. With guys like Zeke and Beasley and Dunbar and Dez who are more dangerous once they get the ball in their hands as it is, it's (I think) and interesting wrinkle.

isn't that exactly what you are doing? say "i saw his eyes - he ... well he something. the english was a tad confusing but putting that aside you can't tell what someone is about to do or why by looking in their eyes at this situation UNLESS YOU have something you WISH to see - so you do.

Ok what are you saying? Stop the bull and say it. I believe that crap he pull was intentional ...and what?????? Im not here to be correct but call it how I see it.

Ok I see what you are saying, not sure it will work though, and you are giving up a option to throw to.
like on that play I posted, he could have stood there, then taken off running a slant close to the line, and the other area is still vacated,
and dak would have had him as a close option on a slant.
I have another one similar with beasely just standing there, but it is on a run play lol.

I wish I could remember the play from camp. I couldn't find it. I think for some reason it was Jones who was left standing, and Carr or Mo in coverage on Dez. But I might have that all wrong. I just remember seeing it and, say it was Jones, him jumping up angry with himself for getting sucked, and me thinking it was kind of a cool wrinkle at the time and thinking we'd probably see more of it during the season.

There is still hope for Williams. He has played steady enough for a #2 reciever. He could be more productive but he is not a bum either. His stats are not that bad.
