On the other hand, if I'm, what, top 50-60 in the world at something I do--something that people actually really really want to do well in the first place--and a bunch of fat, barely literate ham-and-eggers jumped all over me every time I wasn't able to make a play that I desperately wanted to be able to make, and did it anonymously without, most of the time having any real clue what they were talking about....I'd be fairly tempted to tell them to suck an egg, too.
How about being a man about it and saying "I screwed up, I am sorry".

Oh that's right, much easier to piss and whine about the fans.

This is about as entertaining as seeing fans want to crucify Patrick Crayton for the Giants playoff loss.

Get some perspective and move on.

Sorry - That's a bad take.

Crayton and Fasano deserve every bit of criticism they have received for that loss.

Those drops are inexcusable at the professional level and a playoff game at that.

Ask Jackie Smith. It's part of the deal.

Get this child a timeout. He acts like a toddler throwing a tantrum. He is the Cowboys version of Hope Solo.....He just gives further ammunition to those that call us the Cryboys.

I can't believe we passed on Keenan Allen for this useless tool.

I agree.

But what you don't do is taunt your critics with "replace me if you can" stuff.

If TWilliams believes he will get a pass on his sub-production..

then he is wrong.

Last year he had excuses galore with Romo and Dez gone and the running game struggling.

And now Romo is gone again but DAK is doing OK.

Williams can't just wait for the stars to align for him again.

He is in a contract year.

Time to shut up and play but don't complain.

True but bottom line is he is human. It's like when someone ****s up admits to it and then has to here about it for a week nonstop. He knows he ****ed up and it's time to move on but everyone keeps bringing it up. I'd be pretty pissed too.

Terrence Williams is a good Number 2 Receiver his numbers are on par or better then most Number 2's people making such a big deal out of him not getting out of bounds yet no one is saying anything about Dunbar pulling the same crap earlier in the drive. No one was complaining when he made that catch in Seattle SMH

I like T Will he made a mistake so be it there was plenty of blame to go around that game. My fear is he is gonna sign with someone in the east and he will come back to haunt us. It is what it is at this point I just don't understand why he gets no love as a number 2 .

He's also not the first Cowboy player to make that mistake. In 1986 the Cowboys were in a shootout against the Falcons. The Cowboys needed a TD toward the end of the game. Tony Hill caught a long pass in Falcon territory as time was running out. Instead of hopping out of bounds to leave one last play to get that TD, Hill turned upfield and attempted to run in for the TD. He was tackled on about the 5 I think and the game was over.

I'm not thrilled about what Williams did. He absolutely should have gotten out of bounds, but I don't think that one play defines him any more than Leon Lett's 2 gaffes should define him.

The Cowboys lost that game in the first half when they could not score touchdowns and had to settle for field goals instead. Yes, Terrance should have run out of bounds, and yes, Bailey may or may not have made the kick, but having to rely on all of that was only due to the inability to capitalize on the opportunities the Cowboys had in the first half.

He should shut up and apologize by playing better instead of whining about the fanbase. He should know by now that fans are going to gripe about it until he wipes that stain from his record with a few good plays.

I hope he likes playing for some trash team next year like the Titans, Browns, or Rams.

I highly doubt anybody that's any good is going to want a loud mouth WR that has an awareness rating of 5 on their team.

Our players are just too comfortable.

It's really that simple.

There is no accountability in this organization starting at the very top. Jerry the GM has not been fired for his countless blunders the last 2 decades. Garrett does not have to account for his terrible decisions as a coach since he got here. They knew no matter what they do, nothing will happen to them.

And Williams seems very insecure making a statement like this. Any athlete who brings up to people if they could do their job as well are clueless of the big picture. No one is saying we can play NFL WR. That is not the issue at hand. The issue is you don't know to get out of bounds in that situation when 99.9% of fans knew this. All your teammates and coaches knew it. And TWill admitted to knowing this.

As an athlete, why even go on social media and entertain the backlash?

Just shut up & do your one job simpleton.

LOL. This preseason, there was a QB who was vying for the starting job on a team that had just picked him up. One day in practice, during a goal line drill with a simulated clock, he mistakenly took a knee instead of spiking the ball, letting the clock run out. He was soon released by the team, which decided to go in a different direction from that point forward.

That quarterback's name? Mark Sanchez, the current backup to our rookie QB. As I said before, this team specializes in picking up stupid players who have no situational awareness. But there is a silver lining....

Last year, another QB made the very same mistake, only instead of it happening during practice, it was late in the regular season, right before halftime, with a division title on the line.

That quarterback's name? Kirk Cousins, starting QB for our next opponent, the hated Commanders. LOL.

Butler sucks. Why are people mentioning him as starter quality? He's a roster filler. We need an entire overhaul of the WR corp. We need a new starting TE too.
IMO the WR's need to stand behind the rebuild of this Defense in this draft(better pray we get some nerve feeling in December from Smith). We hit on Dak which is equivalent to winning the lottery twice. Maybe we can get this DE position fixed after five years. I wish there was clear evidence that I could stop worrying about Byron Jones...

He's just a high strung dude. Everybody is wired different.

By all reports, he's a hard worker. I bet they feed him early like they did Swaim after his two drops.

He will go over 100 yards this week. Book it!
