You can't blame Twill. This qb is just awful,he couldn't hit him wide open in the endzone.

What difference does it make? T Will would have just dropped it anyway. This qb needs better targets... ones that get open and can catch.

Hope all the Roddy White speculation is true and we somehow get him on the cheap

I am surprised at the degree that Williams is struggling to get away from basic man-coverage. I knew it wasn't his strength but this is embarrassing to watch. Granted a better QB would help some, but that doesn't change the fact that Williams is STRUGGLING to get open. Maybe this forces the team to seriously re-evaluate what they have at WR. The group is entirely too reliant on Dez wrecking the defensive gameplan.Need to have a plan B on hand.

Terrance Williams simply isn't good enough. From the very start of the play, he struggles big time to get off the line. Not to mention he should be able to beat single coverage more often than not and he doesn't.

I would not re-sign him.

What's it going to be then, eh?

That would be a desperation move for an aging player with a $5M salary.

As badly as this season is going and how badly we need a real WR, I don't think that is the smart thing to do.

I also do not think the Falcons are truly shopping him to be honest.

Williams isn't all the blame

plays, play calling, game plan, weeden are all to blame.
TW is kind soft, I noticed he isnt much of a blocker, and does not hustle if he knows play isnt to him.
tougher coaching would help guys like him and escobar.
Escobar is huge , but I think I could block better than him or williams.

Never said Romo and Dez are bums. Romo just doesn't have it in him to lead this team anywhere, he's just a good QB. That's fine, but we're the Cowboys. Not acceptable. I'm not expecting a WR to take a team to a championship. Dez is a good player though.
Lol. There will always be Romo haters and "ya, buts...."

I think that both are just waiting for late game strength to some how come to them...that won't happen. One has to dedicate and forge effort for that to occur. Otherwise...some where, over the rainbow...

The HC needs to get them to do better and be tougher, or bench or cut them.
Thing is you let a issue go on too long and then it is hard to change it. Need to address it early on.

White may be better but only slightly. Not worth it. Unfortunately we'll have to ride this out and hope the GM (s) addresses the problem next winter.

What nobody talks about are these 3rd and 5 type situations and we have 1 guy run a 5 yard route and every one else is running 25 yards down field with their back turned to the QB.

Weeden has no where to go with the football and then everyone starts yelling at him.

Yes, Weeden sucks... But he is getting no help from these coaches at all.

He's terrible. Got sensitive to people criticizing him after being shutdown vs. the Falcons and has since responded with a whopping 5 catches in 2 games

Williams was never more than a #2. I don't know why anyone thought he would light it up as a #1. He's a dang good #2 WR but I don't know that he ever showed anything that would make you think he could shoulder the load of #1.

But then again when you have Weeden QBing...who knows.

He's just going thru the motions right now. I don't know if the other team is shutting him down as much as he's quitting on Weeden and the team.

He's been abused the last 2 weeks by a guy from the CFL (Breaux) and Malcolm Butler. Neither one of these guys are world beaters. They have been using press coverage to disrupt Williams and take him out of the game mentally. He gives up too easily. I thought we saw a spark late in the game against NO, when he was being abused, but managed to make a play, but that was clearly a fluke. This guy can't carry the load. He is drawing single teams and coming up empty, game in and game out, against inferior competition.

I would give him credit if he were facing Revis or Talib, but he can't beat former CFL players or undrafted RFAs at this point.

Having Weeden as his QB notwithstanding, I don't understand why officials are letting Williams get mugged all over the field. Press coverage doesn't mean DBs can be grabbing and holding the receiver after 10 yards. Now, I've seen our guys get away with some contact, but Williams is being clearly impeded and illegal contact should have been called several times.

This made me lol. That's exactly how it is.

It reminds me of my 7 year old's flag football team. They don't turn around to look for a pass until they are 50 yards downfield and then they just stop and stand there like statues lol

He was a quality #2 WR with Romo as the QB last year.

He is not a #1 WR and that problem is exacerbated by having Weed has the QB.

Excuses for days. We aren't talking about Williams getting shut down by double teams and pro bowl corners. He is being shutdown by former CFL players and undrafted rookies. 1 on 1. He should win this matchups way more than he does.
