Any GM with half a brain would have Warford ranked above Escobar , esp in a team that has dire needs at the OL and already has 2 TEs

I think that most NFL GMs have more tha. Half a brain

So just making things up then?

Ugh, posts like this are so dumb. He wasn't on our board, hence it was Callahan's call, not Jerry's. But please continue your blind agenda pushing.

Even if they lined up in 12 every snap, I'd still take Warford.

That is where we disagree, I like Warford a lot too and hindsight is a wonderful thing since Leary and Waters and likely better than Warford right now, but if they had a true plan to utilize the TE position to move the ball through the air, then I would take Escobar every time...I would rather he get his feet wet while Witten is still around

It's simply completely stupid to say I bashed an entire draft class by saying that Warford should have been a prospect we were interested in.
How could you possibly get that out of what I said ?

See who you are talking to
Making things up is his specialty

Guess I don't have half a brain, because I'm taking Esco over Warford every time.

Esco is a great pick, Red and Callahan just don't know how to get him the football b/c they have absolutely 0 creativity.

You can only use past results to determine future probabilities if that's what you mean. But you still don't judge decisions based on results.

Funny, because every job I have ever had has been performance based. The same with every real GM in sports. If they don't have success, they don't have a job. Unfortunately, only in Cowboys fantasy land are we not allowed to judge the ultimate performance of the team. We are left with moral victories, like we had last week.

Ah, we're back to hindsight again.

Apparently I was using hindsight last spring on Warford.

Wow is that ignorant.

Bill Callahan has no power to make that call.

And who cares whether he was or wasn't on the board? He's a vastly better player than the player we selected there. If he wasn't on the board, that's even worse for the Cowboys and their inability to evaluate talent.

What's hilarious is you scream that Jerry has too much power, and now you're screaming that he should have overrode the veto of the offensive line coach. But hey, whatever helps the agenda, right?

Gurode at his best was better than Fredrick is right now. Pump the brakes some on your push to put him in the HOF right away. He has made a couple of mistakes that have cost us. I believe in a year or so he will be the best center dallas has had since Step. But not yet.

Maybe physically Gurode at his best was a little better than Frederick is in his first 5 games as a rookie, but Gurode was never good at making the line calls. Everything that Frederick brings to the table, IMO, is better than the complete package that Gurode brought.

Just my two cents.

If we take the words hilarious, ignorant, and agenda out of your posts they would be blank

No offensive line coach in the history of the league sets up a draft board.

Is there an adult I can talk to over there?

For the same reason 3-4 NTs weren't on our board.

Why wouldn't we want 4 nose tackles? I don't understand.
Ok. We didn't have him on our board because we made a mistake in evaluating his talent. It was a mistake. We used poor judgment. As you did choosing your screen name.

The problem is that they make too many mistakes to win. We have been mediocre for nearly 2 decades now. How many GMs out there have been chasing a #2 TE for the better part of a decade?

Our DC vetoed Sharrif, yet you don't think our OC has the power to say that a lineman isn't a fit? As I said, you are clueless.

I'm sorry you, like RS, can't understand the difference between a traditional and ZBS.

Apparently his work ethic and attention to detail are off the charts. Obviously a good sign for a young talented player. Can't wait to see him after a full year of NFL coaching and weight training. I see a guy who should be consistently winning battles vs. #2 CBs.
