I don't dislike Williams, but his body-catching bites us at times, like against Green Bay. I value hands highly at the position because it does you no good to get open if you're not going to make the catch.

I will be happy to move on from the body-catching, but I like the rest of Williams' game, which is why I'd be OK with his return for the right price.

Beasley signed a 4 year 14 million deal 2 years ago. I wouldnt put Williams value much higher, maybe 4 years 18 million. Wouldnt be shocked to see someone throw 25 to 30 million at him.

One of our few bargain deals that paid off.

Williams has good value as a 2nd Receiver and every effort should be made to resign him. Replacing him would not he cheaper and he is very reliable.

Just wondering what he's expecting. 5-6 mil a year or 9-10 mil a year?

Beasley >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> TWill
Different players. Beasley was born to be a slot receiver. Williams is strictly a WR2 outside.

If Terrence wants a big payday, he will need to go elsewhere. There are probably a dozen guys in the draft as good or better than him. No need to pay him big money.

If some other team wants to over pay him, have at it. Remember when Alvin Harper went to TB (except he isnt as good as Harper) and how that turned out?

Dallas will resign him unless some other team gets stupid and gives him Laurent Robinson money.

I'm not a huge T. Will fan but he is a big game player just like Alvin.

Twill is a solid but unspectacular number 2 receiver. Hes made alot of big plays for us and has had some bone head mistakes too.

My biggest issue with shelling out money for him is his apparent low ceiling. We know what we are getting with him and he contributes but I dont think we can reasonably have much hope he turns into anything more. He isnt capable of being a one. So Id take the risk and let him walk. The guy you replace him with may not be as steady but at the least you take a shot on someone who can develop into a better player. Lets face it, for the money he will command its probably not worth it considering he is fourth or fifth in pecking order behind Zeke, Dez, Beasley and possibly our beloved old man TE.

If we are buying 5 more years of what TWill gave us for the last 5 years then no thanks.
He doesn't add anything to our offense that many many players around the league can give us.
In fact with a low ceiling he would sort of be taking a starting spot away from a young player that could actually add a more effective element to our offense.

Maybe I'm wanting too much, but if Dez goes down I expect my number 2 WR can play like a number 1.

Expecting a lot. People are still wanting more from Dez as a #1.
