Just wondering what he's expecting. 5-6 mil a year or 9-10 mil a year?
My guess is somewhere between your estimates. I expect anywhere from $6 million-$8 million/year. That's the going rate for a starting wide receiver who isn't a legit No. 1. Sanu got a $6.5 million average. I'm guessing that's where Williams' agent will begin negotiations.

TWill pre Dez, Beasley, Elliot, and Witten, and without. Look at his catch percentage. 50s, then 72%.

Defenses ignored him for higher quality playmakers. He benefited. Yeah, low quality WR. Personal stats alone, do NOT tell the whole story.

Romo also was more likely to try and fit throws or throw his WR open then Dak who was adverse to such riskier throws. That allowed him to get away with his limited catch radius and body catching.

To his credit, he did improve his route running. He was getting separation out of comebacks and outs which he never did before.

He's a decent receiver but limited in several ways. I want both my starting WR to be dynamic playmakers.

Everytime he jumps to body catch instead of reaching up and catching a ball in stride, a puppy dies.

Just ahead of Jordan Matthews... Not exactly where you want to be if you're trying to make a point.
You forget the other two names, He ahead of Antonio Brown and Julio Jones, Doesn't make him great but they are on the list ! Just saying

The fact Jordan Matthews is in the top 10 of any list and ahead of Jones and Brown should tell you the relevance of this list. Not validate the point he's attempting to make.

Twill's numbers came down this season, he's a decent/good receiver but it's time to replace him with a speed threat like a DJack or Mike Wallace to help stretch the field and take some of the attention off Dez. We need to start creating more big plays down the field by adding some explosiveness to the offense at WR.

Beasley signed a 4 year 14 million deal 2 years ago. I wouldnt put Williams value much higher, maybe 4 years 18 million. Wouldnt be shocked to see someone throw 25 to 30 million at him.

I wouldn't sign him to a deal like Beasley got. Beasley, to me, is a more important part of the Offense (or he was at the time). Williams just doesn't effect the game to game enough IMO. He actually had his worst year, stats wise, he has had since he entered the NFL, last season.

Maybe he could join Romo in Arizona. That way they could get a ring together.

Seems to happen to everyone we let go.

Should be a club. The Former Cowboys 'OWL club.

I feel ya. He'll most likely have his agent send this to Jerry. Is there a list for bone-headed plays his in the top ten in that one two
