News: Terrance Williams to IR

Two actually, I think. One on the 53-man roster after they IR'd both Frederick and Williams and activated Irving.

And I think they opened up one on the practice squad as well.

 

Irving took one spot and a guy named Ringo was added to the PS

 

Who gets the call up from the practice squad now?

 

Not sure. There is just so much insane talent to choose from.

 

The thinning of the herd.

 

It's still crazy to me that his last (non practice/preseason) touchdown catch was from Romo.

 

Williams was never a consistent player, should not have been resigned in the first place.

 

Not that crazy. He isn't a good receiver. He benefited from Romo extending plays.

 

I honestly kept forgetting Williams was on the team.

 

He's not a great receiver but he looked like a solid #2 receiver up until last year.

 

Just not true. He was probably the weakest link on our offense over the last few years pre-dak.

 

He was release from the PS as you can't have a full PS but not a full roster

 

TW...has been pretty much irrelevant this year. So it wont be noticed.

 

DT position seems a little thin.

 

To be honest I hope he's alright. Something about all of this seems a bit bizarre.

Unlikely TWill ever makes it to the field as a Cowboy again.

I wonder how much he basically self sabotaged when the writing was on the wall for Dez, and he saw he could be next.

He's been a starter since half way through his rookie season, but he's on the verge of becoming a veteran minimum guy, if he can make a roster.
