Terrell Owens, WR — Dallas Cowboys

Owens has been essentially a non-factor in the last three games after a strong start. Owens could help himself by doing a better job of catching the ball. Too many drops have limited his production. (Jean-Jacques Taylor for SN)

Agree that TO needs to keep his head in the game and his hands on the ball.

But I would also point out that Romo's status as a first year starters limited opportunities for TO in the Buffalo game and to some extent in the Patriots game. I think Romo was extra cautious early in the Patriots game cause he wanted to ensure he understood what kind of coverages Belicheat was showing him. Also think there were several times when he and his WRs were not on the same page.

Hopefully Romo returns to great form against the Vikes and the rest of the season and has the kind of games we've come to expect & enjoy. Watching Romo play makes me smile as the Cowboys return/continue their winning ways.

While I agree that Romo could have done a better job in both of those games (particularly the Bills game) I fail to see where that has anything to do with Owens dropping the ball. Except for the one high throw that went through Owens’ hands when he (once again) alligator-armed the catch I really don't see how Romo could be to blame for his lack of production. Owens has been dropping balls that hit him right in the bread basket. And for someone who considers himself to be such a great receiver he does not fight for the ball at all. I hope that our whole team gets back on track vs. the Vikings but after the Pats game I have to say that Owens has farther to go to get on track than Romo does.

Yup.... we need to be more aggressive with him. He needs to be the primary. Even Wade said so.

We need to use him like Brian Westbrook with a bunch of short passes. only thing is more touches equals more risk but why else do you pay a guy $10 mill a year and not work him???

Spoken like a true Texan....It can still snow when the temperature is above 32 degrees at surface temperature.

I would really love to see those 5 drops by Witten.

Because I have watched every minute of every game and really don't remember them.

The one thing I keep wondering is where is all the motion that we were using early in the year for TO? I liked motioning him about of the backfield and all over like we were early. Wonder why that has stopped for the most part?

Right now Hurd is the guy I'm concerned with, he has only 6 catches. He needs to step up and make plays to help take the coverage away from others.
