As I said it was in jest, I like T. Williams a lot and look forward to seeing him continue to develop.

I know, mine was going to be as well. Heck, here goes.........

"It's all good, the body catcher doesn't need a shoulder to catch passes"

Vs Greenbay? 1 Catch for 38 yards? When he saw mainly single coverage?

There's one football, man. And Romo decided where it went between Murray's 55 carries a game.

Do you see another receiver coming in here and getting targeted 10 times a game? No.

Williams made the most of his chances, including THREE touchdowns in the playoffs compared to Dez' zero.

I hate not being the first one to make a funny about the body catcher :(

Ironically, Michael Irvin caught the ball with his chest, and he teaches that to young receivers. He says it's easier to brace for hits when you do that.

Hey hey hey

Dez was doubled teamed.

Still something he needs to work on by the way.

Yep, he does.

It all makes good sense. Dez certainly draws away attention, and Romo is getting more comfortable with Williams, who provides a deep threat and is getting better.

But there's only one ball. Witten is going to get his, and Beasley is getting a lot of targets, too, as he should. And now the Cowboys are running the ball a LOT more, and Romo is throwing more safe passes to back out of the backfield.

There's only so much to go around.

No pads practice. Why was Church hitting so hard at a no pads practice? We need this kid.

Yes, consider:
Dez top 3 NFL WR
Witten HOF type TE
Murray 392 carries, by far the most in the NFL
Beasley arguably top 5 slot WR

How many targets does that leave for the 2nd outside WR whose primary job is to run deep and intermediate routes to clear out for Dez and Witten?

Following that logic Jordy Must suck too considering Carr kept him pretty contained.

Double team. Only a blind homer would think Carr took him out without safety help. Hence why Cobb went to town.

You also put Jordy and T-Will in the same argument? Only on the Zone

Using stats without context is a stupid way of measuring a players ability especially from 1 game. Not comparing TWill to Nelson but brought it up by how stupid it is to say a player is "horrible" based on a box score. Maybe they did shade a safety here and there but Carr deserves credit on his coverages the last 3-4 games of lat season going inot the playoff.
