Second of all, how much are the starters going to play, about 3 qtrs?

I'll be there. They should play 2 quarters at a minimum. Probably a drive or two into the 3rd. But heck, with the way our drives are going, one could take up more than half the quarter.

I will be there. I hope they play 3 quarters with the starters. And being surrounded by Texan fans at work and family down here.. this is not the game I want them to lose.

Phillips hinted after the Denver game that the starters may go 3 qrts in the Houston game. Saying that is how it is normally done when a reporter asked about the starters playing 3 qrts in the 3rd pre-season game

Just because it's normal for starters to go 3 quarters in the 3rd preseason game doesn't mean we still have to. I just want to avoid any unnecessary injuries to our starters. Let the starters and those who play in the many packages for the first half & let the backups go in the 3rd. We can leave the young guys have the last quarter so we can evaluate them.

I'm just saying that chances are Dallas will go 3 qrts. in this upcoming game and then back down in the last pre-season game giving the 2nd unit the majority of the game.

I figure Romo will go 2 1/2 - 3 quarters, but TO, Witten, Flo and Colombo, etc. will probably play a half or less. Romo will probably get a bit of work with the guys who are fighting for roster spots.
