Crazy given the situation he was dealt. He accepts the job and the franchise QB...who already requested a trade...is accused of sexual assault by a dozen or so women.
The team doesn't play him, which is probably the right thing to do. Doesn't trade him, which I get...may as well let the legal proceedings happen so his value goes back up (or not)
But they had no real plan at QB, and fire him after 1 season? I don't get that
…….and I bet the same sports media that cried crocodile tears after Hue Jackson was fired from the Browns after 2 seasons will still apply their usual double standard and ignore this particular firing.
