…….and I bet the same sports media that cried crocodile tears after Hue Jackson was fired from the Browns after 2 seasons will still apply their usual double standard and ignore this particular firing.

they are consistent if nothing else

Joke of an organization. Culley and Lovie got more than most would have out of that talent deprived team.

Houston reclaims it’s position as most dysfunctional franchise in the league. Jacksonville was getting a bit too close!

Without a doubt. The team catapulted down hill after trading Hopkins away for an already declined David Johnson.

Not that they hadn't already made terrible moves before then, but this was the catalyst to a rapid decline.

It's joyful to watch Texan fans sucking. They stopped being transfixed with the Cowboys when they became too pathetic to open their traps.

What I find funny is that Bill O'Brien was behind most of those shenanigans, and now Jacksonville wants to interview him. Guess they figure O'Brien has a lot of experience with dysfunctionality!!

That's a horrible decision, Mills looking promising and they are going to let go of the guy that took over without a legit QB?

I'm still pissed Dave Campo let them have their first franchise win against us.

I've always thought it was pathetic what a good old boy league the NFL is. Why on earth someone would want that crap show running their teams makes no sense at all. Lol

The guy was a questionable hire in the first place. He was a long time assistant and never held a true coordinator role. His strength is as a position coach and probably as a QB coach and assistant head coach, but he wasn't made to be a head coach. Especially in a rebuild situation. There were obvious reasons he didn't get hire as a head coach until he was 65.

Apparently they weren’t that thrilled with him when they hired him. He was viewed as a short term answer. The Deshaun Watson situation may have caused better candidates to shy away. The Texans are a mess that’s for sure. They’re going to have to guarantee more of a commitment to their next head coach.

It's official, the Texans Owner is out if his mind and the organization is among the worst in the professional sports.

How many games was he supposed to win with a rookie 3rd round QB and a lousy running game . I thought the Flores firing was absurd this is nuts,

Houston should never have been awarded a team.

Saw that coming a mile away......set up for failure from the beginning. But we have the Rooney Rule that every franchise loopholes through. Not surprised one bit.
The Texans were doing a yard sale and expected Coach to perform a Miracle.

Brian Flores would be a good fit . He helped turned Miami into a respectable outfit . I assume Houston will be drafting high and often in April need to see what Watson brings them in draft capital stick with the 3rd rounder who ended up being behind only Mac Jones in passing stats for rookie QB’s Mills was.
