TEXANS EXTEND JOHNSON
Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that the Houston Texans have extended the contract of receiver Andre Johnson.
Johnson, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2003 draft, was under contract for two years, and was scheduled to earn salaries of $5.25 million in 2007 and $7.75 million in 2008.
Johnson had career highs last season with 103 receptions and 1147 yards. He was named to the AFC Pro Bowl squad in 2004 and 2006.
