As far as I can find that is a rumor started by Tony Pauline. He actually states "belief in nfl circles" not that this has happened.

Houston lost 2 safeties today and the Cowboys aren't the only option if ET wants to "phone home", so it's hardly a stretch.

The texans is nothing more than a rumor started by Tony Pauline and he didn't even say they are making a push. He said belief in nfl circles think they will make a push.

If the reports are true and we offered $8-10 range, I am very surprised he just didnt flip us off and go sign elsewhere by now.

Which is smart considering the guy is over 30 and been injured 3 years in a row. No way am I paying him $14 million per year.
